Not that I'm complaining . . . by Louis Hom
Anyone know why my fuel consumption would suddenly go from years of 26 mpg to about 33 mpg? It started about two weeks ago, with the only new occurrence being a change from Sunoco gas to Citgo. I can imagine there being some minor difference between the two stations, but enough for a >25%...

SW2 alarm by Mark Carroll
What public information is there about what sets off the 1998 SW2's alarm and how the owner is meant to cancel it? I don't normally carry the keyless entry fob because I find it too easy to press the panic button accidentally. So, this morning, I tried opening the car with the regular key -...

possible transmission problems by kuba24
I took my 2001 SL2 for a 90K service at Saturn. They changed the transmission fluid and said everything was fine with the transmission. Next day while backing out I noticed that it slips when I put it in reverse. Basically, whenever I start the engine and put the car in reverse it slips. It did...

Brake problems 24 may05 by Roy
Had my 98 SL1 in to have rotors and pads changed. Since I got it back every once in a while the front brakes will tighten up. The pedal gets really firm and when I push in the clutch it is like the brakes are being applied lightly. It only seems to be affecting the front, if I hit the brakes...

Replacing plugs, wires, serpentine belt and tensioner by MPost
I have a 1993 SC-2 that just passed 100K. I took it into my mechanic to get some other work done, and he suggested that I replace my spark plugs and spark plug wires (for $400) and the accessory drive belt and tensioner (for $350). These prices seemed to be excessive, especially for the plugs...
