01 accord lx pulls a bit on some expressways by curious
Hello, I own an accord lx 01 and have noticed that here in the atlanta burbs driving on I-985 north of atlanta, I notice the car move a bit side to side when it's driven over 60 mph. Now, I don't notice any pull when driving on I-85 North of atlanta. It may be the roads also.

94 Civic EX: slight pull to the left at speed by Abeness
It seems I may have a slight pull to the left at highway speeds. Does not appear at low speed (e.g. <10 mph). At first I thought it might have been the brake problem I described here recently, but it seems to be present even after I checked the brakes, cleaned up the calipers some and replaced the...

recommended antifreeze? by Abeness
Is there a commonly available antifreeze that's sufficiently aluminum-engine-friendly for a 94 Civic, or is genuine Honda antifreeze the only way to go?

Replacing clutch on a 1997 Civic? by Moorehead Johnson
I noticed while driving a 1997 Civic that the clutch pedal has started to feel real soft - very little resistence when depressing the pedal - and when shifting into first and letting out the clutch, it takes a while for the car to get moving - 2 questions: Is there any adjustment possible to...

Hesitation Blues, Part II by NJSS
I have a 1992 four-door Acoord EX with AT and 166,000 miles. I sometimes get a horrible hesitation when I either take-off from a dead stop or when I speed-up from, say, 1,000 RPMs. Not only does the engine not rev, but also it seems like something is physically preventing the gas pedal...

Best aftermarket theft deterrents? by [email protected]
Hi, I had my '98 Civic EX stolen thursday night. The cops told me, based on the number of Honda's stolen in my neighborhood in the past month, that I should expect to never see it again. OK, so I'm starting over, probably buying a similar late 90's Civic or Accord. I realize that if they really...

Seat Broken - Warranty? by ??
I just noticed the passenger seat on my 2001 Prelude SE isn't sliding properly and have discovered that possibly the seat frame is crooked as it seems too close to the door. As opposed to my driver's side being closer to the center console, the passenger seat side (back part) seems to rub on...

2003 Accord drives sluggish by Jumper
2003 Accord Sedan EX 4 cyl. This is difficult to explain properly but I'll try. I have about 44k miles on this car and it is 95% highway miles. I had been averaging about 405-415 mpg on a tank of gas (13.5 gallons on average) before the low fuel light came on. Lately I have been lucky to get...

No brakes shortly after half-axle replacement by Seraphim
I have a 1990 manual transmission Honda Accord. I recently (2-3 weeks ago) had the drivers side front half-axle replaced after the outer CV joint failed. Tonight, while driving home I applied my breaks and began making a turn to the left, when a loud bang came from the front, what I thought was the...

OT Auto Humor by Dean
This is making its way around the groups: How a Honda employee bakes a potato: Preheat new, high-quality oven to 350 F. Insert Idaho potato. Go do something productive for 45 minutes. Check for doneness, and then remove perfectly baked potato from oven and serve. How a GM employee bakes a...

For the last few weeks I've been trying to fix this stalling problem. I've owned this 88 LX carbed 5-speed with 145K miles since it was new, and I want to keep it forever. The car starts and runs as normal, except lately it intermittently stalls out at idle. Not the best situation in stop and go...
