Suggested Battery for 93 Miata? by
Cat in the Hat
Hi gang
I remember reading about batteries here last year...and didn't write
anything down. But it seems like I need a new one for my wife's car. What is
the consensus of this group as to what type and where to get it?
Appreciate any help. Thanks!
Tom

1999 Mazda 626 instrument cluster removal by
fritzmeister
Does anybody know of a website that goes through the specifics of the
instrument cluster removal on a 1999 Mazda 626 ? I've gotta get in there
because 2 of the dashboard illumination bulbs burned out and the very left
side of the windshield heater is clogged.

brake pads by
Martin Jackson
50 years ago, my brother used his Pontiac GTO to test pads in NJ for a
vendor. His recomendation to do one or two hard stops from top speed to
outgas the volitiles has stood me in good stead. After that, the brakes
work much better. It's been 5 years since new pads....Martin

$900 for a distributor replacement? by
kr101
My 94 Mazda MX6 needs a new distributor. As this was dying, the car
overheated and the shop replaced the thermostat. I now owe $353 for the
thermostat, and $90 for diagnosing the distributor. The estimate for the
distributor is an additional $840. So it will cost me $1,280 to get this
car back,...

Droopy eyeball vents by
[email protected]
I have just installed a new stereo in my 94 Miata to replace the
factory unit that finally gave out.
I have the center eyeball vents still out and was wondering if there is
anyway to correct the looseness and droopiness of the vents.
I have tried pushing them back in the socket to make them stay...

Where is your Miata really at? by
Kevin H
Put the MILLENNIUM + on your vehicle or your spouse vehicle and you can
find out where that vehicle is EXACTLY!!! It is Advanced Internet Based
GPS Vehicle Tracking. You can also find out how fast the vehicle has
been going, and even call your cell phone when it exceeds a specific
speed limit. It...

Replacing mirror by
Eric Baber
Hi all,
Is it possible to replace just the mirror part, i.e. the reflective part, of
a wing mirror, continuing to use the frame of the mirror that's screwed to
the door? If so, how does one go about talking out the original one and
replacing it?
Thanks
Eric

I'm about to replace the spark plugs and ignition wires on the Miata,
here's what's near me:
Checker Auto, Auto Zone. Farther away is Pep Boys, NAPA, BAP and Mazda
dealer.
Does anyone know which of the above might carry the NGK blue wires? I
could call but I'd spend forever on "hold" IF I could...

212,000 mile Spec Miata wins race by
John
Have you ever doubted your Miata's drivetrain integrity? If so, you
should'nt, cause the 5x Racing 1991 Spec Miata just won a 5 lap race at
the SCCA Roebling Road double drivers school with 54 other miatas this
past weekend. The car has over 212,000 miles on it, including the

Did I make a mistake? by
laocmo
I've realy missed my sport cars since I sold my last one, a Fiat 124
Spyder back in '75. Prior to that, I drove a series of '60s Corvettes.
Eventually, marriage, raising a family, etc. left me driving a series
of dull mini-vans and station wagons for many years. Now I'm retired
and have bought a...

Eunos fuse box by

Hi all,
While checking the wiring diagram today I note that it shows two different
fuse panels. I can only find one, the one at the o/side inner wing adjacent
to the servo. Anybody know where to find the other one?
TIA
Al.
