Exhaust running question... by
D.L. Man
If I install a dual header exhaust off my 66 w/5.0 frog leg style right in
front of the rear wheels... Is there a problem there that I can't see?

Hey all -
Just to verify, the motor mounts used to put a 289 V8 in will also work

Sean White
Hello everyone!
I just recently bought a '03 Stang and i'm having trouble finding some

Recently i went to a local auto parts dealer to order some from there

Great rear-view mirror message by
[email protected]
In the latest Mustang Monthly, on page 68, there is a spread on a 2001
Cobra convertible. Decent ride, but nothing overly exceptional.
HOWEVER, on small piece caught my eye. They have a close-up of the
drivers side rear view mirror. Instead of the standard 'Objects in
mirror are closer than they...

A sad state of affairs by
ironrod
You might remember when I posted a few months back about my 73 Eldorado.
Just yesterday I decided to take the vinal roof of the car and get to work
on the rust underneath. As expected, there were several areas where the
rust had eaten all the way through. The damage was pretty bad but...

'97 4.6 weird shudder by
[email protected]
Hi all,
I have a 97 GT 4.6 and I've been having this strange problem. Between
1500 and 2000 rpm's I get this strange shudder which feels exactly like
it would when going over rumble strips in the road. I know it's not
road noise 'cause when it has happened the road has been flat and
smooth, it...

Distributor Springs (for mech advance) needed by
MJT
Any idea where I can get new springs for my 65 distributor? Checked a local
source with no luck, and the catalogs I have from various Mustang part
suppliers don't seem to have any.
After much tinkering and adjusting, the last thing that will hopefully
eliminate the pinging I get on acceleration...

What's with missing grills? by
[email protected]
I just bought a 97 GT (please read my "shudder" post too) and the front
grill was missing. No biggie, but every time I see a similar Mustang I
walk up to it to see what the grill looks like and EVERY TIME their
grill has been missing too! What's going on? Is there some roving gang
that swipes...

Launch RPM in 5.0 by
BradandBrooks
Guys,
Even with my almost stock 5.0 (5-spd), and stock 2.73s, I can't get a good launch on my Mustang.
I've got Comp TAs (225s) and I'm wondering what you guys do to get it going, fast! I just spin unless I feather it but then it bogs...
Thanks!

the fresh fluids. All components seemed to be funtioning well so I
