84 Vette battery question by Jon Smith
I you have a new battery and alternator you should first check to see what the alternator is putting out. If you are getting 13 to 14 volts at idle on the gauge you need to check for a drain. My guess is the fuel pump relay or the Bose Relay is staying closed draining the battery. The Bose relay...

AC temperature control problem (C5 ) by Jon[_6_]
Passenger side dial is set in the center default position. No matter where I adjust the driver's side dial the passenger side is blowing ice cold and the driver's side is barely cool at all. What is going on?

62 Rim/tire question by JPenlandUW
Hello, I am assembling a 62 and replacing the tru-spoke wire wheels with original rims/hubcaps. However, I would like to keep the P23560R15 tires "or similar" (I like the wider tires). What size rim (OEM type) do I need to work with these tires? Would a mid-year type 6 inch rim work with these...

AC recharge on a C3 by JR
I need my AC recharged on my 1980. Do I switch over to the new stuff. Or try like hell to find someone to put the original r-12 back into the system. Heard their is an oil incompatibility issue by putting the new stuff in an old system even if it has been vacuumed out? Thanks John Naples, FL

What can I use to get rid of the mildew/musky smell in my 1980. Its not over bearing just annoying. My guess is moisture gets traped in side being lock with windows up under a cover in this hot Florida sun all day with rain everyday. Thanks John Naples

C4 compatability by [email protected]
Will all the C4 years front springs interchange with each other? I have an 84 that pops and creeks. It feels like it is coming from the center of the spring but there is no sign of damage visible. I have heard that the 90 spring was the best but I do not know if it will fit on my 84. Any ideas?

Interior C4 lights by [email protected]
I have a 1984 Corvette restore that I am doing in my free time. I got a battery in the car tonight and I started testing what worked and what did not. I was in luck because just about everything worked, except the seats which need new switches and maybe new motors. One thing that I did notice is...

Targa Top Question by [email protected]
I have been told that it is not good to leave the targa top off of my 1984 Vette for a long period of time (in the garage) because this can cause problems with the frame due to a lack of stability offered by the top. Does anyone know if this is true. It does not sound correct to me but I thought...

'71 clutch shake.. help! by js
I have a '71 Stingray with LS-5 (454) motor and M-21 transmission. When driving around, the clutch pedal vibrates. Also, when the clutch is pushed in, no shake. At friction point there's vibration. When I have the tranny rebuilt, the shop said it was probably just fingerprint on the flywheel...

ABS unit - 1988 corvette by [email protected]
my mechanic tells me that the ABS unit on my 88 is probably shot -- left front wheel will lock up on hitting the brakes -- we've already fried one set of calipers trying to figure this out. Initial attempts at finding this unit have not been successful -- apparently GM views this to be obsolete;...
