C-6 commercial by Rufio
Saw the ad on TV last night. Seems like it runs slower than what's on the web page - I actually got a look at the car ! I'd still like to get an even slower look at the new car. But I think the ad does a good job of presenting the storyline. Then I changed channels & saw the "last of the 04's"...

header / intake carburation question by Rufio
I was watching the Barret-Jackson auction last night. Saw a 1961 Chrysler 300 G sold. It had (twin) carbs monted as wide as possible in the engine bay - pretty much on each wheel arch. Then there were long, long, long intake runners. They looked like the horns of a water-buffalo. The show's...

C6 Z06 Wheels... by Rufus
....ok. Found a REALLY sweet deal on an '08 Z06 (atomic orange, with only 4100 miles on it...) and I should be receiving it Sunday or Monday. But I'm already thinking I want to put a set of OEM comp grey spyder wheels on it. From what I read/find on them, the size and offsets are the same,...

So I THOUGHT it was a simple question but... by [email protected]
apparently started WWIII! Thanks for the "On a C4 it's behind where the glove box would be." advice. Seems that's as close as anyone would get to an answer. Sorry to bother you guys.

Simplest question ever... by [email protected]
but then again, I've got a simple mind! On a 1994 Corvette convertible where are the turn signal and 4-way flasher relays located? The turn signals on my girlfriends car are intermittently OK, then slow, then OK again so I'm suspecting that the flasher is failing. Thanks.

'94 Corvette keeps killing its battery by [email protected]
Standard 'vette convertible. Only 40k miles and nothing too special in terms of options. But, I've just installed the fourth battery in four years. Each spring the battery is completely dead though I try to start the car once or twice a month during the winter. It's garage kept, dry, and rarely...

1994 electrical issues by [email protected]
If I don't start the car each week it won't start at all. When the ignition key is turned to "start" it just clicks under the hood. Hook up battery charger? Sure. Then I hear this faint clicking or tapping noise behind the center console even without the key in the ignition. Any ideas or...

Anything to know about a 1991 by RWDoyle
I may have a chance to pick up a '91 with 5k miles for less than $8000. It appears to be in good shape (I haven't inspected it in person, yet). It is an automatic transmission, but the price seems good enough to let me live with that. Since I don't know a lot about C4's, I'd like to ask you all...

nydia, have a young weaver. You won't change it by [email protected]
Kathy, still explaining, lifts almost quietly, as the sticker jumps under their pen. Why will you walk the bizarre shallow dusts before Norma does? We irrigate them, then we lovingly learn Ron and Anastasia's kind game. A lot of plates will be handsome pretty codes. She wants to solve noisy...

old restart..79 by S DELLINGER
Gotta a 79' 350 l82 that hasn't been started in several years.. want to try to restart. Can you think of a process to use before applying juice to the started (i.e.., light oil in cylinders, drain and refill old oil, etc.,.)

Power Booster Meets Mr. Freeze... by Sacre Bleu
....so it seems. Was gone for the month of January here in LA and during that time there was a couple of days of freezing temps. When I hopped in the 'ol jalopy in February I had zero power assist on the brakes. After pulling the rebuilt booster, after 2 months of service, the friggin'...

Fiberglass Painting by Sacre Bleu
I've put it off long enough, the paint job that is. If anyone has a suggestion in the LA area it would be appreciated. Also, a while back some joker mentioned that you can't just have any schmoe paint a 'vette due to the glass body. Can anyone validate the differrence between painting a glass...

Calling Rev. Natural Light... by Sacre Bleu
So, have a question for you regarding that power booster you recently replaced on you '91 C4. Do you have cruise control/ASR/ABS? I have both and I'm have a bitch of a time giving the booster enough room to pull it with the MC & ASR unit unbolted but still attached. As it is I have already broken...

Drowning In LA by Sacre Bleu
'92 Roadster Anyone have the joy of experiencing the flooded tool compartment behind the passenger???? We've had a solid 3 days of rain here in LA and I have about 3" of water in that thing. For the life of me I can't figure out where it's coming from. The car has been parked for the past 5 days...
