Timing belt change by
rdr
Hi,
I will be having the t-belt replaced on a 4-cyl '93 soon (B6 engine
type), and the local garage has given me an estimate based on OEM belt
AND two other bearings (?).
I know the tensioner bearing (?) should be replaced at the same time,
but does anyone have an idea what the second bearing...

Puzzling cooling system problem..any ideas? by
smallg
(This is not about a miata, but I included that NG because the general
Mazda NG looks about DOA.)
One of my cars is a '90 Protege...great sturdy little machine and with
over 182K miles, it runs great and is so clean under hood you could
eat off the valve cover, but I digress....
Anyway, here's...

FS: OEM wind blocker and half-tonneau from tan 01 Miata LS by
Carl Night
Hi all,
It's a beautiful weekend here in SW Louisiana. The temps are down in the
70s and it's definitely tops down driving weather. We took our '07 PRHT out
for a drive last night and had a blast. The new exhaust / mufflers make a
nice deep rumble now. Not loud just deep. :-)
I found some...

transmission output seal needs to be replaced..
I just wanted to know how much expense I am looking at before I get
the car
Thanks

New top? by
XS11E[_3_]
Got my car back this morning with it's new Robbins top:
http://www.miatamania.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=58586
But it's black as white is not an option for my car, too bad, I would
have preferred white.
It cost more than expected as the tension cables were broken on one
side and...

How to Eliminate Soft Brakes by
Christopher Muto
I have new rotors and pads on all four corners yet my brakes seem soft.
They certainly work, but they don't have the bite that brakes on a new car
have. What do I need to replace to get that authoritative bite that braking
on a new car has? Master cylinder, new hoses front and rear? ...

Air Flow Knob by

The air flow in my 2001 is stuck in the dashboard vents position and
will not turn to foot well or defrost. Is this a "take it to a
mechanic" or is there any posibility of repairing this myself?

john
Your local gas station probably offers you 3 levels of gasoline, like
gold, silver and bronze. These typically have different levels of
octane in them and you will generally get a little better mileage for
the more expensive type.
In addition to different octane levels there are many...
