HELP: 1993 SL1 Window Regulator - READ THIS!! by
B. Case
Ok Saturn guru's... I'm hoping someone can help out with this weird thing.
I have a 1993 Saturn SL1 (4dr/Manual). The driver's side window regulator
went, so I went to Saturn to buy the part and have a local mechanic install
it. I bought the part and brought it to the mechanic. He said that...

Strange engine noise & high idle 98 SL by
ahr888
My 98 SL with 77K miles (1.9 SOHC, manual tranny) developed a strange
engine noise shortly after the last oil change. The sound is most
noticeable during idle. From inside the cabin it sounds like
buzzing/groaning sound which seems to disappear or become unnoticeable
at 1500 rpm. The noise comes...

Fuel test port cap by
Oppie[_7_]
Anybody know where I can find a replacement cap for the fuel pressure test
port. I ?fumbled while trying to put it back on and it slipped down into an
irretrievable place. I'd like to get a metal cap if possible.
Was getting a rich bank 1 and 2 reading and was trying to troubleshoot it.
For the...

GMS & Saturns DRLs by
teem
On GMs the headlights are on full time,on Saturns,it's the park
lights. Is this how it ended up?.In my opinion,if you have to see
lights on in daytime, you shouldn't be driving, plus the battery has
enough to do.

SL2 Cabin filling up with Carbon Monoxide, after fender bender?!?!?!??! by
eb7g
Thanks for the replies!!
I figured out what it was. It was actually engine oil that I was smelling.
You know the top of the Saturn motors, there is a release value of some
sort, right in front of the carburator? Well, I guess the accident
impact pushed it completely out and I was smelling hot...

thoughts on saturn ion 1 by
Scot
What are peoples thoughts on the 2004 Saturn Ion 1? Pros/Cons.
Is it really true that Saturn does not negotiate on price?
Thanks,
Scott

"Secret" 2001 Saturn Alignment Defect by
Mr. Goodwrench
If you bring your car in, Saturn policy is that they will not inform you of
this TSB unless you specifically ask for it by name, otherwise you will get
an alignment and your car will continue to cup and chew up the rear tires,
possibly causing a blowout, and loss of control of the vehicle.
This...

Oil changes by
Shawn
I own an 2007 Saturn Aura XR with about 59,000 miles. I've had the
car since July of last year and so far I've put on about 23,000
miles. I drive on average of about 950 miles per week. I've only had
the oil changed twice in the nearly 6 months that I've owned it. Both
times that I've had it...

P0842 fault code by
Oppie[_7_]
Predictably, the morning that we were supposed to leave on vacation, the Vue
started shifting very roughly. I had filled the tank the night before so
suspected bad fuel. Put in a can of drygas and hit the highway. About 10
miles into the 200 mile trip, the MIL light came on. Pulled over and...

When The Battery Light Comes On Does This Mean The Battery Is Going Dead? by
John
The generator light came on while I was driving but the next day all I heard
was a clicking sound when I tried to start it. Headlights come on dimly. Is
this usually just the battery or something more serious? Before this I had
no indication that the battery was getting weak. The little battery...

2002 SL2 Sloshing sound by
Fvert
Our Saturn has been great for us, a 2002 SL@ with 140k on it. No major
issues or repairs - it is just getting harder to get in and out of as I
get older.
We are getting a sloshing sound somewhat frequently that sounds like it
is behind the dashboard on the passenger side. I probably first...

Prove to my insurance that my car has ABS? by
millinghill
I have a 2001 Saturn SL1. It has ABS. I know because the dashboard
light says so, and it has saved me from skidding numerous times.
My insurance company is not convinced. Their underwriter says that
ABS was not standard on my car. That may be the case, but my car
_HAS_ ABS. I'm not the original...

Key blanks for the Vue by
Oppie[_7_]
I thought it might be prudent to have a spare key on my key ring - separate
from the fob just in case the key gets locked inside the car. One never
knows when the vehicle may just lock itself when you have the security
system and RKE...
Went to a local locksmith and found that the keys with a...

01 LW300 heater by

Now that the weather has turned warm, I am noticing that even with the

still hotter than the outside air.
Any ideas on why this is? Not sure if it is in the internals or just air
heated by going over the hot hood and into...
