'05 'stang depreciation by Grumbler
Speaking for myself, have never paid much attention to the depreciation cycle of cars/trucks in general as it's all about enjoying the vehicle of your choice, not how much it's worth down the road. My wife wants to buy the new '05 'stang GT, and I advised her to wait for the '06 models as supply...

Engine squeal in late-80s stang by [email protected]
Asking for a friend here, so forgive me if I'm short on details... a friend just picked up a late-80s model Mustang (302 I think, but don't quote me on that) and is getting a squealing noise from under the hood. He says it sounds similar to a belt squeal, but it's NOT the belts, as he's removed...

2001 seat belts by Michael Seeley
O.K. Here's the deal, Bought an 01 coupe (V-6 auto) because my wife was going through $80/week in gas and I was racking up a ton of miles on the Cobra. We also figured this would be a great car for our 14 yr old in a couple years. The seat belts don't seem to want to retract with out a bit of help....

Heater Core by Gill
Last Jan. My core sprung a leak. I missed my warranty by a month but my miles were still relatively low so I talked with the local Ford service rep. guy. He made me an offer of $300.00 so I gladly let them deal with it. All better and a one year warranty on the core. Fast forward to November,...

Rear end problem by ironrod
Lately it seems as if the rear axle on my 88 GT 'stang is moving around too freely. The left rear wheel is even coming into contact with the front part of the fender skirt when hitting a bump going around a left hand turn. I'm running stock springs and tires so clearance shouldn't be an issue. ...

Stalling, dying, FIXED by Brad and Mia
Hey all. Just an FYI for all of those kind enough to help diagnose my dead Bronco. I got my it back from Ford today. It turned out to be the carb... pretty much shot. I got the Ford boys to rebuild it as opposed to getting a rebuilt one. Well, it runs fantastic with a lot more power. BUT,...

Hello Newsgroup, I have a problem with my 1991 Ford Mustang LX (5.0 Coupe). My turn signal don't work. When I push the stalk up or down (left or right respectively), the inside turn indicator comes on but does not blink. The external turn lights do the same thing. I purchased and installed a...

Completely O/T by Jafo
You might be an EXTREME Redneck if: 1. You let your 14-year-old daughter smoke at the table in front of her kids. 2. The Blue Book value of your truck goes up and down depending on how much gas is in it. 3. You've been married three times and still have the same in-laws.

04 Mustang Cobras at the drags by Big Al
Went to the drags yesterday. There were two 04 Cobras there and I tried to keep an eye on them. I was disappointed to see them stuck in the high 13's. What are regular guys turning with stock Cobras? I'm sure the magazines are getting good numbers. I talked to one of the guys and he said he was...
