Couldn't put the roof on, '88 Supra Sport Roof by
Hachiroku $B%O%A%m%/(B
The other night I was cruising with the top off, and when I got home I
tried to reinstall the roof. No Go. The rear bolts lined up ok, but the
fronts were off by at least 1/4"!!! I bolted the rears in and went to bed.
When I got home at 5AM I looked in the daylight, and could see the front
bolts...

Any tips on changing the starter? I see a bolt in the front, and there

how do I remove my alternator? by
Nate Nagel[_2_]
'93 F-150, 300 I-6, I have removed the two bolts that appear to retain
the alternator, how do I actually remove it? I can't really see (it's
one of those things where I guess once you see it apart you know what
you have to do) but it appears that there might be a long sleeve through
the bottom...

1993 Dodge Caravan by
Don[_14_]
To stop my 1993 Dodge Caravan I need to press the brakes extremely
hard and continue holding hard to keep it from going forward. The ABS
pump seems to run constantly while the brakes are applied and I
noticed a little brake fluid pushing out the top of the caps, even
though it wasn't filled...

SB Chevy Loosening Rocker Arm Nut by
Rick2950
Small block chevy 350, one of the rocker nuts comes loose on a regular
basis and I have even bought brand new rocker nuts to try and fix the
problem but it still comes loose.
Can I "double nut" the rocker nut? (put 2 nuts on it which I believe
would hold better)
Or, should I install a new...

I am trying to find out which year and exactly the gas mileage of the CRX that
got the great 60? mpg mileage in the middle 80s. Also a place to get mileage

Has developed a bad hesitation on accelerating, almost like a stuck

I have a 89 Plymouth Horizon that had a deeply scarred passenger rotor
due to the caliper locking up on it. I replaced the brake pads,
damaged rotor, left and right rebuilt calipers and also a brake line
on the driver's side that was not passing the fluid correctly when
bled. Everything looks great...

What causes the 'chuffing' noise older Subarus make? by
Hachiroku $B%O%A%m%/(B
I have an '89 1.8L
Like all old Suby's it makes that 'chuffing' noise that sounds like a very
large eggbeater.
What causes this? I realize this has to do with the boxer design, but
there must be a reason why it becomes more pronounced with age.

'99 chevy blazer water pump by
ioan
My 99 Chevy Blazer started today to lose coolant. I took the car to the
Chevy dealer and they said that will cost me $550 to change the water
pump and another $500 to change the intake (that is leaking too).
My question, how hard is to change the water pump? Is this something I
can do at home...

Is my car salvaged?? URGENT by

Hello, I bought a car from a private party then I looked it up at
Carfax. It has a clean title but at the bottom of the report it said
sold at auction listed as salvage. No red flags just that statement. I
live in Arizona and that is where I bought it. It came from New
Mexico. I called New Mexico...

remove the drum, loosen the parking brake lever adjustment nut or the
