Which spark plug is better: V groove or U groove? by larry moe 'n curly
NGK V-groove plugs have a V-shaped notch in the center electrode. Nippon Denso U-groove plugs have a U-shaped channel in the outer electrode. Are there any reasons why one design should be better than the other, other than because of the manufacturer?

My son has a 1989 GMC pickup that he just bought and we can't find the ignition timing bypass wire. I understand it should be a tan wire with a black stripe. I had the same on my 1987 GMC and it was located at the firewall between the distributor and the master brake cylinder. I looked around in...

'04 Explorer, raps at start up, normal? by dahpater
A 2004 Eplorer XLT 4.0 (8th/K). After it sits over night, first start up, quick raps for about a second, then gone. Oil pressure is great while running. No raps/noises while running/revving/driving. Sit for 5/6 hours, does it again. The noise sounds like no oil to rod bearings. Is this the nature...
