'93 coupe - "Service ASR" by
CardsFan
This evening while cruising at a constant 40 mph the car suddenly bucked a
bit and the "Service Engine Soon" light came on in the DIC. A quarter-mile
or less later that went out and the "Service ASR" light came on and stayed
on. For the heck of it I punched the ASR button to turn it off. ...

LT-1 dies at WOT by
GeorgeC
Curious if anyone has seen this, or has any thoughts.
LT-1, 135K miles
New ECM, old one stopped "seeing" the right O2 sensor, failed smog test, etc
I rarely "get on it", treat my old friend nice in his old age, but one night
I was entering a freeway onramp (uphill) and punched it, almost WOT...

Key Fob Question by
Roscoe[_2_]
My fob stopped working so I bought another. In screwing around to see
if I can fix the broken one, I discovered that the circuit board has a
small rattle in it. I checked and sure enough, the brand new one has
the same rattle so it must be there for a reason. My guess is something
to do with...

Factory Recall on New Z by
Spud
Well, I had the 2008 Z06 over to the dealer to get the Lojac and impact
alarm installed.
Seems there's a recall, (#07260 for Dad). Something about a software
update. Had to order a part.
Took it in today for the installation and also, the one of the flappers in
the exhaust tips was stuck...

First 200 Miles in New Z06 by
Lee C. Carpenter
After 200 miles, some observations: *
1. Does the inside of the center console always get hot enough to smelt
copper? Holy Moses... I guess GM didn't mean for us to store a chocolate bar
in there.
2. Still haven't solved the rear end chatter issue. I did the figure eights
Dad suggested and I...

2008 - squeaking from top by
Andrew DeFaria
My 2008's top squeaks by the driver's side, specially when it's hot
outside. If I unlatch the driver's side latch just above the visor the
squeaking stops. At first I just thought it was newness and the ungodly
heat in the summer here in Phoenix but it's beginning to really bother me.
Is there...

Autocross by
Dad[_1_]
While I was chasing pylons this weekend it was fun to watch the car
attitudes as the came around my corner.
The lone C2 was a hoot, 80 year old was trying to gain enough points
to get his NCCC jacket. Drove it up here, Ohio, from Florida. Ran both
days and did a fair job.
Odd, but no C3s...

I think there is more... But I think the ZR1 is the only 2 letter 1 digit

2001 C5 ground points - maybe by
FBNE
I think I am battling some electrical gremlins. My turn signals work
somedays and others it flashes once and quits. The hazard lights will
work when the turn signals don't. Other days all is normal. The center
console mounted environment display (AC - OAT, etc) goes dim and is
unreadable as...

1976: A few repair questions by
Mark[_17_]
OK, I was trying to replace the front coil springs today on my '76. I got
the spring compressor free on loan from Checker. I removed the shock
absorber and when I went to insert the spring compressor into the same slot
on the lower control arm from below where the shock normally goes in (as...
