Transmission problem by
BDragon
About a year ago or so, I had to replace the transmission mount on the cross
member. I have a 1977 350/automatic. The mount had ripped itself up, and I
wondered about that. When I put the new one in, I really had to put some
sideways torque on the shaft to get it over into the mount. That...

Mounting Sirius radio & antenna in a C4 by
Richard Lovdahl
Does anyone have experience doing a 'neat' mounting job of a Sirius
radio in a C4? I have a 92 coupe and currently put the magnetic mount
antenna on the dash - works depending on the direction I happen to be
driving.
Obviously cannot magnetic mount the antenna to the roof, but have
heard that...

C3 Parking Brake Adjustment by
Charles Halliman
I need help in adjusting my parking brake on my 1969 vette. I have the
service manual and the assembly manual. I followed the instructions in
the assembly manual on page J191, adjusting the nut near the equalizer
to tighten the cable. The Parking brake holds better, but not like it
used to. I can...

Replacinfg front turn signal on C5 corvette by
[email protected]
First you need to jack up the car. You may want to remove the wheel but
not nessary. There is a plannel just behind the air dam remome the 3
screws on the bottom and two on the side next to the wheel. Remove
pannel this will give you access to the bulb socket. Twist the socket
counter clockwise and...

constant cooling fan by
Joevett
The cooling fan on my '86 is always on--relay? I also have an oil leak, got
it up on a lift and of course it's the head gasket-- no easy fixes on this
car : ) What do you think that may go for $. I'm thinking of leaving it
alone for now because I don't lose too much oil and do not add between...

1996 Corvette by
tgtoday
I have an intermintant starting problem with my C4. I have replaced the
battery. At times, not very often, the car will not turn over. No sound, no
clicking, but the batter appears to have power as the radio and head lights
will work. Sometimes jumping with wife's car works and sometimes...

surging by
[email protected]
I have a 91 vette with the L98 motor. The problem I'm having is it
surges down the road. It does this in o/drive or in regular drive.
The dealership told me it was the transmission. I don't think it is.
I think it's engine related. I have replaced the throttle postion
sensor, the manifold air...

C5 Coupe weather leak by
enilc
Hi all,
I've got a C5 coupe that I <shudder> was driving in the rain recently.
I noticed a leak where the sunvisor attaches to the windshield frame.
Not sure if that's exactly where the leak was at, but that's where it
was dripping from.
Is this common? I dug back several pages and saw some...

I was wondering if it's normal that my hood is shaky on bumpy roads, or
