Engine Dies '94 GT by
Richard
Today while driving slowly the car just died and wouldn't restart. After
about 15 minutes it started ok. Drove to my local garage to check. They
advise that no fault codes were evident and the car ran well for them. Later
on (a few hours later) I drove a few blocks and stopped for a few...

Quick question by
BradandBrooks
Why is it bad - so I've heard - to start your car (5-spd 5.0) from a stop in second gear?
With the stock 2.73s I can still easily start moving in 2nd, and being that 2nd has a top speed of 70mph, I never have to shift on the brutal commute home... It's pretty nice.
Should I not do this?
Thanks...

Qestion: 2005 Mustang v6 throttle body spacer by
Paul
I'm wondering, are these snake oil on an otherwise stock vehicle or do
they actually give some extra HP? They look kinda nice but I don't see
wasting the money if it's just cosmetics
Thanks in advance

Tire Mounting by
Richard
Is the color dot mark on the tire sidewall have any significance? I thought
that the dot was to be lined up with the valve stem so as to better match
the rim weight imbalance with the weight imbalance of the tire itself.
Asking as I just had new tires installed and the color dot and valve...

Reverse by
Gumby
I have an '04GT standard shift, and sometimes it cannot find reverse. I have
to press/depress the clutch a couple of times until the shifter can find it.
Is this normal with this tranny, or do I have a problem.
TIA...Gumby

wiper motor help by
DM
So I just installed a new wiper motor but I hooked something up wrong. In
the start position the wipers have to be up all the way and then they come
down to the hood. When turned off they go back to the full up position.
Any ideas?

Any reason I can't mill away the lip on the 289 crank and use it in a

Crane XR-i Points to electronic ignition. Anyone done this one before??? by
Blue Mesteno
I just bought one and am not sure about installation. I understand it's just 2 wires, but in the specs, it talks about a 1.65L ballast resistor. WTF!?!?! This is going on a '69 with a 351W. Ford didn't use ballast resistors did they? I thought they used the pink resistor wire. I'm not even sure my...

My Capri was relieved of the deck lid louvers a few months ago by a vicious
