92 Saturn L1 by pwarrior
The car misses all the time. I just bought it from the original owner and she never mentioned that ptroblem. I replaced the fuel filter because the mechanic that has serviced it said that was the only thing that could be wrong with it, but it misses all the time and it gets worse when I use...

2000 S-series fuel filter by oligoguy
Hey everybody. I've seen talk on here in the archives about changing the fuel filter, but nobody has mentioned where to get one. I have been to several stores, only to be told that the fuel filter is only dealer serviceable. What gives? Any direction would be appreciated!

PCM problem by Lee3333
Hi- I wrote last week about my 1999 SW2 with 18,000 miles that cranks but won't start. It seemed ok for a while, but last Wednesday refused to start again. My mechanic said it is the PCM. Many codes, no communication, proper voltage going in and nothing coming out. I am speaking with Saturn...

Stupid question about tires by Robert P.
How likely are you to get a hole in your tires from running over a can of diet coke? My wife has had all kinds of holes in her tires, even after we put on a new set, and all I can think of is that she has been known to run over any stray cans which have fallen out of the recycle bin.

A bad ground?? by ricojd
Hi, After reviewing several threads here I realize (and hope) that I am having trouble with a bad ground. Here's what my 96 SL2 did, let me know if you think I might be off base. The car has 200k miles on it and I'm not really interested in throwing much more money at it. I replaced the alternator...

99 Saturn SL- went through high water, won't start by Weasel
On Monday we had a little hurricane here in Florida and some of the roadways ended up flooded. We ended up driving through about 2 feet of water at about 35 mph. You couldn't see it until you were upon it. About halfway through the 30 ft puddle, the car started knocking and was hard...

Service time by John Sloan
Took my vue for its first oil change last week. I live 25 miles from the dealer. I made an appointment for 10am, got there at 945. It was after 11 when I my car was ready. To me this seems like a long time for an oil change and tire rotation when I have an appointment. I complained and...

Coolant Confusion by A. Guy
I suggest all Saturn Owners, particularly Vue owners with the Honda V-6 read the following article from Motor Magaziine: http://www.motor.com/MAGAZINE/Articles/082004_04.html "The questions about 2-EHA were raised not only by Ford (and reportedly DaimlerChrysler) but within Japanese coolant...

SW2 - Hard Starting When Warm by Mitch
My 97 SW2 is becoming increasingly hard to start after its sat for about 30 minutes. I suspect it would be the temperature sensor but is there anything else I should be looking at? Mitch

Replacing Horn 96 Saturn (Wiring and Access) by Clive Hayward
The horn on my 96 Saturn stopped work. As a replacement I purchased a FIAMM Freeway blaster. The Saturn connector has three wires and the replacement horn two wires. Will this part work or do I need a horn with the Saturn connector? Can the two black wires be crimped together? I was able to...

Air Conditioning Fan Failure by Tom
The A/C fan in my 94 SL2 has an intermittant failure that I'd like to repair mysel if possible. The fan will come on and then after 2-5 minutes the fan speed drops until the fan eventually stops all together. I believe that the fan switch is OK because I have pulled the connector off the back and...

Will my SL2 overheat on a long drive across states? by eb7g
Hi there This may sound like a stupid question for some of you, but I've noticed that my 1995 Saturn SL2 overheats quite readily, and on a hot day will 'shut off' until it cools down. I am wanting to drive from Vancouver, BC to Seattle, Washington, about a 2 hour drive on the I-5 highway. Do I...
