E36 ZF autobox 'Lifetime' fluid change (UK) by JB
Anyone thinking of replacing the (so called 'Lifetime') fluid in their ZF autobox in the near future, and want to go halves on a 20L drum of the correct Esso LT71141 fluid? I've managed to find a UK source who want £98 delivered. http://www.oil-store.co.uk/?path=add&opt=378 Cheers, JB

E30 Hartge H35 295mm brakes with 15" wheels? by John Burns
Hartge did a 295mm front brake kit for their E30 H35, it's a four bolt setup. I have the chance to buy one, but the vendor THINKS it'll need 16" wheels. I'd prefer to run my 15" cross spokes. BMW E34 525i's run a 302mm disc and can take 15" alloys. So I think I may be OK. Any comments? I don't...

E46 Screeching noise on turning right by DW Manchester
Hi, I have a 2003 model 330ci convertible (in the UK) and I have noticed a high pitched screeching sound when turning right at slow speeds. It only happens if the car is moving, i.e. if I just turn the steering wheel to the right whilst stationary, no noise occurs. At higher speeds, even a slight...

Problem with blower fan by Vijay
BMW M3 EVO 1996. The blower fan (heating and cooling) has lost speed. It still blows but at best at less than half speed. It happened a couple of weeks ago and since then has only once operated at normal speed. That happened out of nowhere. It just kicked in as I was driving and behaved normally...

Hi all, Just wanted to relate that I recently attended the 2-Day school at the Performance Center in Spartanburg and learned a LOT. After I hit my second deer in a year with the 328 I convinced myself that I needed to become a bit more comfortable with the vehicle at and beyond its limits. I've...

question about front end parts for E34 by mothboy@the_flame.com
My 95 525i is approaching 100,000 miles and the shimmy is here. Ebay carries ads for thrust arms, bushings, etc. by a company called FCP Groton. The prices are unusually low compared to dealer and OEM numbers. Anybody tried any of these kits? I guess I'm worried that the bushings are cheap and...

sticky brake pedal by jom
Hi there my brake lights are stuck on. I can pull the pedal up with my foot and they come off again. I will adjust the light switch in there like in my manual, but is it possible that the brake pedal mechanism is sticky? Can I grease it? Any tricks?

I heard from several knowledgwable individuals on how to solve an irritating front end problem. Thanks to all who offered advice. I've been doing business with Bavarian for years , so I guess I'll see what they have to offer. Also, i did not know the center tie rod was a possible culprit. We'll...
