156 Selespeed Lever Inversion by
Ross
Hey all,
I've recently ended up with a 2001 156 Selespeed Sportwagon and I'm
fairly happy with it so far apart from one thing - to me, the +/- on the
gear lever is the wrong way round.
What I would like to achieve is swapping the current Up = Change Up /
Down = Change Down over to Up = Change...

156 2.4JTD: Fuel Consumption by
SimonC
Hi all
Did a run from Gloucestershire to Cornwall over the weekend, which was
great apart from the fuel consumption...26.8mpg!
Where's the other 14+ mpg gone?
A few weeks ago the dealer replaced the air flow meter, which they said
would fix the problem...it obviously hasn't. Is there anything...

Nice Pics from Geneva by
Ross
http://makeashorterlink.com/?M4C431EBC
Thought you might like the pics of the Spider and Sportwagon.
I hadn't realised that the Spider/Brera shared the dash with the 159...not
sure if that's a good thing!
I had a look round the 159 at my local dealers the other day and it's...ok,
but not great...

Hardwiring in a Radar Detector by
Graeme Cosgrove
Just got myself a radar detector, as the points were beginning to mount
up and driving to the speed limit is not always an option in an Alfa.
Anyway, I quite like the idea of hardwiring it into the electrical

Desira - serves me right ?! by
NC
I've got a small oil leak (the odd spot on the drive - nothing major).
Thought I'd drop it into the local Desira for them to take a look and
let me know whats wrong. Spent 1.5hours waiting round today, and after
that time they managed to come up with the gem of "its very dirty under
there, so we've...

156 Service checklist? by
gherries
Does anyone have a copy of the 156 service checklist, they can email or
point to for me to download?
My manual is in dutch so for me is unfortunately unreadable.
I'm after understanding what needs checking, replacing etc for
100,000KM and 120,000KM, I think thats 60,000 and 72,000 miles.
Thanks
G
