Guess the weight... by
John C.
....and win a prize. :)
The last couple of weeks have been spent removing the interior and the
"OMG" A/V system from the (new to me) '00 R. After having to draft two
friends in order to assist me with the removal of the woofer
enclosure, I figured it would be interesting to see just how much...

HELP! How to install center console on 2000 model by
unix
Hi,
I really need help on how to put back the center console on my 2000
Mustang. Can't figure out how to get the e-brake handle back into the
slot without breaking something. It came off with much effort, BUT I'm
pretty sure there has to be a trick in getting it back on.
Thanks
Ron

Oil Sensor by
jonezzzman[_2_]
This is a follow up message for one I posted several months ago. I
finally got around to replacing the Oil Sensor on my 89 GT and so far no
more leaks. I tried just replacing the O-ring first, but it was the
sensor that was leaking.
I had to buy both the O-ring and the Sensor from the local...

Tricks in getting the center console in place by
unix
Hi,
I had to get to the e-brake assembly and (with much effort) removed
the console, but can't get it back in place. The e-brake handle is a
bitch to get into the console slot and I'm afraid to break the
plastic. Are you supposed to loosen the brakes somehow to make the
handle...

The 300000 mile make over. by
Ironrod
My 88GT vert just rolled over recently and understandably its starting to
need a little work. I would like to update the springs to the softer 93
Cobra style or equivalent. Can somebody point me the right direction. I'm
not interested in lowering the car just softening the ride. (the...

E-brake bolt rusted through sheet metal by
unix
Hi,
The handle on my e-brake became loose. I opened the console and it
looks like the bolt in front of handle that holds it to the floor came
right through the sheet metal. Is there a way to get to the underside
of the floor so I can put in a large washer or something to hold down
the bolt? Any...

Why Do We Need Unions by
Millwright Ron
Our good conditions of employment came from union action over the past
century.
Unions provide the level playing field and the balance needed for
justice. Employer organization's refer to union bosses' excesses. They
ignore the excesses of the company bosses, their failures and their

Smells... by
Brad and Karen
Hey all... I've noticed this a few times, can anyone shed light on it?
The car is the 93 Cobra with a few mods, including shorties, no cats and a full exhaust. When I get the girl going, say, 80-90 mph, there is an odor that comes from the car when I bring it back down to earth. The car runs...

New GT deals by
Big Al[_3_]
Anyone seeing any "deals" on new GT's? I just bid on one here. Used with
4,200 miles. I'm hearing, but not seeing, you can find brand new ones for
$20K.
And: I've heard the new 3 valve Mustangs have variable valve timing. Is this
true? I've also heard they have a problem with them retarding the...

I felt something snap when I pulled on my hand brake handle today. Can
