97 Wrangler ignition key switch by
Mike Burch
I have a 97 wrangler 4cyl w/automatic transmission. When I put the
vehicle in park I cannot remove the key from the steering column. Is
this a mechanical linkage that I can see or is there an electrical
interlock with the transmission? Thank you in advance.

Torque Curve for 88 Wrangler by
[email protected]
Does anyone know where I can get torque curve data for a 1988 Jeep
Wrangler 4.2 L with a manual transmission?
My interest stems from the apparent loss of power when I recently
up-sized my tires from 205/75R15s to 30x9.50R15s. I knew that I would
lose some power with this change, but I'm now...

Cherokee transfer case forks broken by
[email protected]
I've got a '99 Cherokee Sport with ~90k miles. I was recently driving
in 4wd at around 80mph on a wet highway when I experienced a couple of
bumps from somewhere in the drive train. It felt just like a hit some
rough pavement, in fact that's what I initially thought had happened. I
got out and...

Charging/Alternator ? by
Daniel Paisley
'89 YJ, 258. I've replaced the belts, battery, and alternator. The
voltmeter stays in the 'red' unless I hold my foot on the accelerator.
Once the engine warms up (temp gauge @110+?), voltmeter stays close to
14. I know it's not a bad voltmeter reading because the lights get dim
when idling. Any...

Doodling Round Hay Bales with a Jeep by

Has anyone ever had a hay fork put on thier jeep, either front or back?
Lots of people put snow plows on Jeeps, so it seems like a hydraulic
fork would be a possible. Hopefully someone out there has already
worked out the bugs.
I need to be able to move round hay bales to feed the cows. My...

really cool shifter knob by

It's a cool shifter knob but I don't know where to post a pic of it for
those who might like to see it.
It's the piston from my boyhood motorccycle, a Honda CL 100, polished,
bead blasted, buffed, and highlight painted. It had 20,000 miles on it
before it cracked. I've saved it all these years...
