A3 2.0 T FSI Sport DSG by
Neil Hamilton
I had to share this with you guys. I just got delivery of the car in the
subject line today! It is absolutely outstanding.
The power is incredible. Very smooth with hardly any turbo lag and the
gear-box is just incredible. There is just no noticeable time between
gear changes!
The flappy paddle...

Temp Warning Light by
Andre
Hi
I drive a '94 500 SEL, the SA version of the Audi 100 with the V6 2.8l
engine. The prob is that as soon as I switch on the ignition, the
temperature warning light comes on and stays on even after starting the
car for the first time on a cold morning. Where is this sensor located?
Thanks

help with 2003 A4 engine replacement by
gcoz
I own a 2003 A4 with 52,280 miles. The engine recently lost oil
pressure on a trip and suffered engine damage. Audi is refusing to pay
for the damage and I am apealing this decision with Audi corporate.
In the event they do not do the right thing, I am seeking a used
replacement engine for the...

Audi Tiptronic gearboxes by
Gareth Jayne
Hi all,
I'm considering buying a used A4 3.0 Quattro Sport Tiptronic but notice
on the Parkers website (www.parkers.co.uk) that the 0-60 time of the
tiptronic model is considerably slower (1.4 seconds) than that of the
manual. Is this correct? Is the tiptronic gearbox really that slow?
The...

Need Receipts for Warranty by

Hi Everyone...
I am in desperate need of some help. I own a 2004 Audi A4 1.8 Turbo

receiving the oil properly and therefore should be covered under my
extended warranty for a replacement. I have provided my dealer with
the appropriate...

Tire load by
AD[_2_]
Parking here is extremely tight. Hence softroading is common if not
mandatory :-[
I got onto a packed dirt embankment lately and it looked like the rear
right was nearly off
the ground (A4 with sport suspenders has extremely beefy front and
rear sway bars and i think
that was a contributing factor...

Audi body design errors by
laurentien
Dear folks,
yesterday I took my very reliable Audi 80 for some service at the Audi
dealer an did try the A5 and A7 five door cars.
Altough these cars look very nice and the interior trim is as good as
it gets with even an ergonomic control panel (at last), those two cars
are now plagued by body...

Audi A6 CD player errors by
Mark[_35_]
My Audi A6 is quite old now and the CD player is playing up more and
more. We often get ERR1 and ERR3 displayed on the player in the car
and one or all CDs will not play. Usually ejecting the cassette and
replacing it sorts the problem out but increasingly this solution
fails to work. I doubt I...

New A8L by
D. LaCourse
Picked up my new A8L yesterday. Pretty neat car. Not as fast, of
course, as my RS6, but it still has some balls. Rooooooomy. It will
make a good road trip car. Handles surprisingly well, with a very nice
ride.

Premature timing belt failures by
[email protected]
I found this article listed in this group:
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.autos.audi/msg/f1d39993f41cdb09
Although the posting was from 2003, I'd like to inform everyone that
this problem is still very much an issue today.
I own a 2001 Audi TT Roadster and just experienced belt failure at...

new battery - now tick over has gone mad! by
Matthew Maddock
Just had to replace the battery on my '95 2.6 A6, the
tick over was nice and steady before, but now it settles
at 1500+ and seems to vary a bit - plus the engine seems
a bit rough.
Is it just one of those things that will re-program itself
over the next few hundred miles, and then it'll be...

Variable Service Indicator by
Chris Bartram
I've got a 1999 A3 TDi, currently on the variable servicing. I plan to
service it myself, and reset the indicator as per the supplement in my
owners manual. I've read that if you do this with a VW, the car switches
back to fixed 10k mile servicing. Does anyone know if the A3 will do this?

Quattro not working as advertised - Anyone else experienced this? by

It so happened that as I got to the restaurant of my choice yesterday the
car park was full and so I decided I would make full use of Quattro to park
by driving up onto a slope (about 12% steep) with only the two right wheels
onto a grass fringe (wet with hail from a recent storm) while keeping...

2001 change timing belt or not? by
Buying a Used Audi
Do you guys still recommend changing the timing belt at 60K miles. My
car is a 2001 A4 with 83K miles on it, driven by a girl with care, and
serviced at very regular intervals. Should I still change the timing
belt now or let it past 100K? as it is a 2001 is it still falling
under the notorious...
