Rocker Gaskets by
Ant
Hello,
At the weekend i changed my rocker gasket seals as they were a bit leaky.
When i took them off, i noticed that the previous owner had doubled up the
seals. I had only bought 2, 1 for each side.
So i popped them in, and used some silicone too. Anyway, I popped them all
back together, and...

Just behind the front wheels you will see a cupler, after removing the shifter
from inside the bus 1 13mm bolts remove the ...

Step through For real? (Bus) by
moi
I have seen one of these as a late-model custom-made, but can it be there
was a factory version?

I'm talking about the doors on the driver's side.

Two Tone paint by
Russell Moorhouse
Anyone have proof to show that two-tone painting was a factory option on a
'56 German VW? Would like to restore with the two tone if it were truely an
option.

Your Opinion on 1979 Type 2 Value by
Dzeetz
Hello, all.
Please help a dedicated lurker.
An old story: My 19 year old son is driving along in his '79 bus and is the
victim of a collision, not his fault, other driver cited. The other driver's
insurance, State Farm, has offered $1500, considering the vehicle totalled, due
to damage to the...

puma adjustable beam by
Damjan Mozetič
Hi,
It's me again. I have two upgrades on my mind for my 1972 bug. The first
one is the cilinder+piston upgrade in my previous post, and the second
is the purchase of an adjustable puma beam. How would the car behave
with standard shocks if lowered? I guess the guys at
hoffmann-speedster.com don't...

1600+ cylinder&piston kit for 1300 AB engine by
Damjan Mozetič
Hi,
I am considering beefing up my stock dual port AB 1300 engine into
something just above 1600ccm. I might be interested in a slip-in
solution (no modification to case/head), if such an option is possible
and it wouldn't compromise the engine's durability. Also my budget is
limited to around 250...

FI heater questions by
Jon
A quick question about the stock heating system in a fuel injected 76
beetle. I noticed I wasn't getting any hot air out of my passenger
side vents, and after much investigation I think that the hoses from
the fan shroud and the air intake were switched, meaning I had the fan
shroud hooked up to...
