2001 Tribute Valve Spring Replacement Question by
Pat Dreiding
My car is a 2001 Tribute with 87K miles. I need to get a #4 cylinder value
spring replaced.
It broke recently and the car doesn't run very well. :-(
Does anyone have a "gut" feel as to the size and cost of the effort.
A dealer service department quoted me $2,300. Is this reasonable?
Should...

Anyone have an idea how to get the alternator out?
I've already got it completely disconnected, but can't seem to figure out
how to get it out of it's confined space. Do I have to remove something
else?

Buzzer Under Dash by
Wileyman
When I start my 90 Miata, a buzzer SOMEWHERE under the dash below the
instrument panel beeps on and off about 10 times and drives me crazy.
I took off the cover below the steering column and looked around for
the thing, but after 5 minutes of looking and touching everything, I
could not find it. ...

looking for V5 by
Frank
I'm building a mx5 based westfield and I need papers from a donor car.
Anyone have a V5 for sale (car must still exist on paper though). A
complete wrecked low mileage car is a possibility as well, but I
really only need the V5.

Longer lasting timing belts? by
Mal Osborne
Looks like it's getting close to another timing belt change. Came across
this add a while ago. Anyone think these could be left for longer? It's a
standard '94, looking at extending time belt change interval rather than
increasing performance. Maybe twice the life of a standard belt? Cost is...

Oil drain valve by
Clark Friedrichs
Folks,
I went to the Fumoto web site and believe I picked out the correct valve
for my '03 Miata.
I think there are pictures/graphics showing the products, but I can't see
them do to the fact that I'm blind. I was wondering if one of you could
verify my selection?

Stall when stopping in cold weather by
[email protected]
For the past few weeks, my 91 Miata stalls when the engine is cold.
However, it only seems to happen when I hit my first stop sign of any
trip. As I brake toward the intersection and engage the clutch, the
engine winds down and stalls. To get started again I have to turn-over
the engine for 10-30...

Ebay Altezza Tail Lights by
brg
Driving behind my NA the other day I could not believe how wimpy and dim the
brake lights were.
Does anyone have an opinion about the Altezza style tail lights that are
sold on Ebay for about $75-80 a pair?
Do those lights use the existing electrical harness or do you have to cut
the wiring to...

Q: Clicking Sound in Fan by
solamour
Whenever I turn on the fan (with or without the air conditioner), I
hear clicking sound from the glove compartment. If the fan is set to
"2", the clicking sound becomes faster. It sounds like one of the fin
on the fan is hitting something, but I'm not sure what to look for.
I'd appreciate any...

OBD-II Codes on a Mazda 626 by
[email protected]
I know this is a Miata group, but I can't find a good group to post
this question and it's probably generic to any Mazda anyway, so
forgive me in advance.
Check Engine Light came on and I got three codes
P0133 - O2 Sensor
P1131 - O2 Sensor says running too lean
P1132 - O2 Sensor says running too...
