Since I can't seem to find a tire shop that can remove and remount a
tire without breaking one of my SmartTire pressure sensors, I'm
considering doing it myself in the future.
Has anyone used...

98 accord rear brake caliper by
John Edwards
Hi,
Having replaced my 98 accord's front brakes earlier, I tried to replace
the rear brake pads. To my astonishment, the caliper was so tight that
even after removing the two caliper bolts, the caliper would not come
out of the caliper stand, it is tightly fixed to the pads / rotor. Did
anyone...

John
Hi..
I posted earliar.
My 89 Suburban, 350 fuel injected, 4 speed loses power when accelerating or
reaching a high rpm.
There is a 'jerking' and the engine sounds as if it is getting bogged down.
At idle it sounds good..it only occurs when it accelerates, especially in 1
and secound gear.
On the...

2000 Contour - Last plea before taking to dealer by
Craig Williams
(This is my third posting - start with the last one below and read up if you
want the history.)
Swapping ignition coils between the two cars didn't solve the problem. Nor
did replacing the fuel filter. The air filter was replaced not too long ago
and is very clean. I also added some Heet (water...

96 Nissan Sentra... Need head removal suggestions by
Al Kondo
I have a 96 Sentra with 120k miles on it. It has a 1.6 liter engine
and is automatic drive. I recently determined that I have a head
gasket leak (i.e., losing anitfreeze, consistent overheating, and
steam from the exhaust at startup). I have done head removal on
other cars over the years, but...

60mm/2.25" cooling duct? by
Nate Nagel
Hi,
got a Porsche 944 that should have an alternator cooling duct, but it
was lost by one of the previous owners. I have scavenged all the pieces
except for a short length of flexible duct, it's 60mm in diameter but
2.25" would probably work. A quick look at some racer's supply sites
show that...

removing a lot of the dash. I must have broke something????
I don't have any idea how that...

Car won't start ? by
[email protected]
Hi all,
I have a 1994 Mithsubishi KS Verada/Diamante v6 SOHC.
Today I had the car washed (a red herring i think as there was now
washing
in the engine bay), we drove about 2kms to the local shopping centre.
Turned the car off. We were there for about 10 minutes.
I went to restart the car and it...

F250 power steering wimping at low speed, low rpm. Replace, rebuild, ingore? by
Gonzo
Hi. I have an '89 F250 4wd diesel extended cab truck with 60K miles.
Yah, low miles. It sat a lot before I got it! Great truck if there's
lots of turning room.
Lately the steering at low speed has become very difficult. The power
steering seems to disappear and the steering wheel jerks. Bad...
