Leased A Lemon Audi A6? by
Richard Periut
Hi all,
I need some advice; because what has happened to me is really beyond my
belief.
Two years ago, I leased an Audi Quattro A6. The care handles smooth and
I love it. Except, every month and sometimes twice a month, I have to
take it to the dealer because of a sensor light turning on, brakes...

ruined my life by
JJ
My A4 has ruined my life. I have extreme leg pain from this vehicle. My leg
is numb and aches...every time I drive...I guess....being tall......is NOT a
good thing. I had a passat....not problems...but I think this vehicle is
very close to the Jetta.......

Fixing spare wheel by
Yvan
I have '89 Audi 100 2.3E Avant (caravan) with LPG conversion. LPG tank
is now where spare wheel used to be, and I now put spare wheel in
another position, beneath the cover on the left (driver) side in the
trunk.
My problem is that now I can not secure spare wheel, and it makes noises
on a bumpy...

Strange coolant temp guage movement - 98 A4 V6 by
Tony
Could be the Tstat or sensor but it could also be low coolant and a bubble in
the system.

1975 Audi Fox by
JAMES DELLOCONO
The second car that I owned in life was a '75 Audi Fox. I was in college and
it was economical. It was also fast, handled well and had a lot of room
inside.
I loved the car despite its drawbacks.
Anyone have any comments?

TT window problems by
John Mitchell
My 2000 TT driver side window does not roll down. I can hear a
clicking noise when I try. I removed the door panel, removed and
reinstalled the motor, and then it worked fine for about a week, but
then stopped again. Any idea what the problem is? I dread having to
replace the controller, since...

Oil cap by
Yvan
While I was trying to solve my idle - ISV problems, I removed oil cap to
see if I have vacuum leak, and it looks like this:

I changed oil one month ago - some 500 miles (Castrol GTX - mineral
oil). All this time...

F.S. Audi 100 A6 Trailer Hitch by
Dennis
I have a Reese trailer hitch that I put on my 92 Audi 100 for sale. I
retired the car last year and it's been sitting in my shed. I'm pretty
sure it's rated for at least 2000lbs. I used it to tow a couple of Jet
Ski's on a double trailer and had no problems. It could use a repaint
but is in great...

changing tail lights by
Darwin McCullough
Hey there,
Turned on my dipped headlights this afternoon and the Driver's Information
System *correctly* informed me that the rear RHS tail light had blown.
Access to the lighting cluster from the boot/trunk looks prohibitive (it was
pouring down and didn't look too hard) but surely this is not a...

changing lightbulb by
Dirk Velle
Yesterday the boardcomputer of my Audi A4 (limousine, 2003) indicated that
one of my rear lights gave up.
I tried to change the light bulb, only to find out that the manual tells me
to go to the dealer to have it changed. I refuse to do that and I tried to
do it myself but that is not easy! The...

1986 Audi 80 1.8l 90 hk by
BBO
Hi,
I might buy this car, it's a car with one owner, 107000 km on the
odometer. It's recently been repaired for around 1500 euro. The car
appears in mint condition and the only rust visible is on the rear
wheelbays(?).
Is there anything particular I should watch out for, or is this a car
that I...

F.S. Audi A8 Rims Excellent condition! Cheap! by
Dennis
I have 4 Audi A8 17" rims that I bought for my A6 Wagon. The tires on
them are throw aways, they were wide performance tires and I never
aligned the car when I put them on. These are factory A8 Rims in
excellent condition.
They fit 92-98 A6 Wagon and 97 Up A8. They may fit others but I'm not...

Steering Rack Part No. Query (A100 T44) by
Ovalking
I'm contemplating swapping the steering rack on my early 1988 UK A100
(split gaiter and leaks). I picked up a used replacement rack a while ago
when one came up cheap, but the part no. is slightly different.
I'd really like to know if the replacement will fit before I attempt this
job.
On car we...

Driving with disconnected ISV? by
Yvan
I have hmmm... dual fueled 1989 Audi 100 2.3E (NF 5-Cyl. engine). I
start engine on unleaded petrol, and after few minutes ('till engine
warms up) it switches to LPG (see http://www.lpga.co.uk/LPGA.htm). It is
LPG system of an older generation without lambda (O2) gas control.
When I stop the car...

I'm trying to decide among these cars. Any help will be appreciated.
Below are my thoughts so far (after test driving all three at least
twice). Any other cards I should consider?
All three I'm only considering only in manual transmission.
(1) I really like the power and tight suspension of the...
