Max Tire size for Stock 1987 fullsize chevy pickup by
Wit
I have an 87 Chevy Silverado that I am doing a little playing with. I
need new tires and I like the stock stance (right now because of $$$).
Can someone tell me the Max size tire I could get without any lift? I
know I can go larger than stock without rubbing but I am not sure how
big.
Thanks,
Wit

Nissan Engine / Starter Motor by
Janet and Chris Wilkinson
I have a 1986 Land Rover County 110 which I have had from new. It had a
2.5 Nat Asp engine which stopped working twice in the first 60,000
miles. The man who was then the Technical Editor of the Land Rover
Owners Magazine replaced the engine with a Nissan FD35 3.5 ltr Turbo
Diesel.
Even after...

Land Rover Series 3 Clutch by
bc
Recently I replaced the clutch on my 74 series 3. Virtually
everything was replaced: clutch assembly, driven plate, slave
cylinder, etc. Initially, after bleeding, the clutch was quite close
to the floor, but seemed to function fine, there was no spinning
transmission with the clutch depressed...

Ford Aerostar: Any hope? by
Markus Gauçier Henrí
I could be inheriting a smooth running '92 Aerostar extended. Can
anything at all be done with this to customize it? I think it's a
unibody, I know it's not AWD, but can I drop a bigger engine in it, or
lift it, or drop it without major modification?
Thanks!

That depends... do you want 4WD with low-range gearing for the steep/messy
bits? Or can you settle for AWD without low-range gearing?
If you want low-range, I think you're...

Water in my axle and t-case! HELP! by
Carl Saiyed
Wheeling this weekend in a place off River Road (For those who live in the
Seattle area - 167). I got into some serious mud/water, a few feet deep.
Deep enough to cover the hood of my 80 Ramcharger with a 2.5" lift on 31's.
The hood was only covered when the front end into a dip/rut.
Anyway, this...
