4X4 problem by

Hi, Have a 1994 GMC Jimmy and the 4x4 system won't allow it to go into
4x4 Hi, it will go into 4x4 Lo with no problem. I was reading and asked a
local dealer about it and most from what I hear, it tends to be the TCCM or
the Encoder motor. Are these two things easy to get at and check? Any...

This Jeep has been 3rd car for last summer and my regular driver for

I'm considering taking a very long road trip to northern Quebec and
Labrador. That's the real North, very remote and wild, with very poorly maintained
gravel roads (huge potholes, etc) and very few gas stations. Later, I'd like to
drive to Yukon territory and Alaska.
Obviously, I'd need a 4x4...

I'm getting a little water in the oil by

I have a 90 F-150 302. Last winter I started noticing a little
milkiness on the dipstick. It went away in the summer. It's doing it
again this year, and I am loosing some coolant. When I stop the truck I
can smell coolant (a little) but can't find where it's going. Head
gasket? intake manifold...
