Proper viscosity oil in 1994 Civic DX by
mhoza
I just bought a 1994 Civic DX and the owner's manual states that 5W-30
is recommended in the crankcase; I am inclinded to stick with that but
it also mentions that this is for "energy conservation" reasons. I use
Mobil 1 and have been using the 0W-40 in my other gasoline powered car.
I am...

johnin
I have a 1999 Odyssey which we bought new. It now has 109K miles. My son has
been driving it, and reported that the transmission sometimes slips. I took
it to the dealer and they said they got the transmission to slip, the codes
reported by the transmission indicated a failing clutch, and that...

transmision problem? by
johnin
My wife's 1999 Accord has this situation. When accelerating at a
normal pace and the engine (automatic) shifts into 3rd gear and you
then push your foot down to pass (i.e. getting on the expressway) and
the engine down-shifts into second gear, there is a slight hesitation
with the engine still...

Help! Removing factory DVD for 2004 Odyssey. by
[email protected]
I'm trying to remove the factory DVD from our Odyssey. It appears that
I just need to remove the bezel around the face of the DVD to get
access. I'm assuming that this piece is just snapped in but thus far,
with a fair amount of effort, I'm unable to get it out. Am I missing
something? Any...

I have a 1996 Honda Accord LX 4dr. Don't ask, but since 1998, the
right side speakers have been the only side that work. If I turn the
balance on left, and turn up the sound all the way, I can here them,
but just barely. This is the same on the front and back for the left
side.
I took the left...

Honda ACCESSORIES Online. One more time by
FunkyKev
I've saved some links from you guys before, but I'm specifically
interested in places that have OEM ACCESSORIES available, not only the
stock parts catalog. Furthermore, I have a 98 Accord that I'm shopping
for wood radio trim/bezel.

I have beed trying to decide what fluid to use in the transmision of my
newly aquired 1994 Civic DX with 5 speed manual transmision. I was
considering Redline MTL but then decided it is safer to use the Honda
MTF.
However, then read this after Googling the subject.

I own a 98' Accord 4dr automatic. I love the car and have had it for
some time now. Other than the typical "drivers side door lock switch
not working" issue, my only problem is with the shifter. There are
times after I put the car into "Park", I am not able to press the
button on the shifter knob...

New key can't be programmed? by
Wayne Atkinson
Having bought a second-hand Accord Executive (UK, 2001 automatic 2ltr) we
thought it prudent to order a new key from our local Honda dealership, as
there was only one key supplied with the car. The key was obtained from
Honda UK and programmed by the dealership, however, it refused to start...
