MIL eliminators by
First off... let me just say.. I am *not* getting an off-road crossover
pipe. BUT... I do wonder what MIL eliminators are (I almost typed MILF hehe
caught myself though) and how they work. As far as I know, they supposedly
replace O2 sensors?? Would you need MIL eliminators with an H-pipe that...

Top Speed of an 06 6 cylinder Manual Mustang by
C. E. White[_1_]
I am interested in an estimate of the top speed of the following
version of a 2006 Mustang Coupe with the 4.0L V6 and a manual
transmission. Assume the base model -
1) As delivered. I assume Ford included a speed limit in the PCM
2) With a chip that removes the speed limit
3) With a chip, free...

Rear gear change in '91 by
5point0
I am thinking of swapping the stock 3.08's for 3.55's in my '91 rear
end. A friend told be that it's not a good idea because the gears are
normally lapped at the factory and if I replace them, my diff is going to
howl. Can anybody comment on this?
I am also toying with the idea of replacing the...

I cleaned out all of the igntion wires that go to the ignition modules.. and
I cleaned the ignition module connecting parts where the wires plug into. I
changed the spark plugs (NGK Iridium). The studder is still there. Studder

Minimum noise level? Minimum??? by
Dillon Pyron[_2_]
Seems that folks are complaining that the hybrds (esp Prius, gotta
pound the crap out of Toyota, right?) are "TOO QUIET" and they want a
minimum noise level for the cars so blind folks won't step in front of
them. I guess that means we'll have some 'bangers out there loading
up 10KW speakers just...

I love Mustangs, but there are also a few other cars ... by
Dickr
Summertime in Minnesota and many "garage" cars are out on the street.
I noticed a beautiful custom 1953 Chev 2 dr sedan at a local strip mall.
When the owner started that puppy, I knew it didn't have the original
6 cyl engine. Nasty! I've also seen a beautiful 63 split window Corvette
coupe and a...

This 2,000-hp Mustang is in serious need of wheelie bars by
MummyChunk
The Ford Mustang on the right is drag racing with the standard
technique. The Mustang on the left, driven by David Measell, is using
a new "rear bumper only" technique that evidently surprised
everyone at the South Georgia Motorsports Park strip

Stupid question -- wax and glass molding by
So, I feel really dumb asking, but the 05 is giving me grief with this, and
ive never had to deal with it before...
After waxing (mother's) my paint, some got on the plastic trim around the

Changes I'd Make To The 2011 GT by
NoOp[_2_]
As good as the new 2011 5-liter GT Mustang is what changes would you
like to see in future versions?
I'll start.
Weight: (Disclaimer -- It could weigh 3,200 pounds and I'd like to see
3,000; 3,000 and I'd like to see it under 3,000, etc.) But the
current 3,600 is too chunky. Pony cars, IMO,...
