Wife wants a pillow - help! by
JohnH
The wife wants a pillow in the Mustang. I don't mind that, as long as
the pillow supports the 'decor' so to speak.
Anyone know where a pillow with the Mustang emblem can be purchased?
Thanks.

Ford's Japanofied Lincolns by
RichA
It's tragic. 10 years ago, Lincoln was the #1 luxury brand in the
U.S. Not now. So, instead of the distinctiveness they once had, they
are curving the lines and turning them into just another "me too"
brand to Lexus, Infinity, lower-end Mercedes, etc.

The Paddock Mustang Parts vendor - CLOSED by
D E Willson
According to the latest issue ofMustang Monthly, The Paddock has
closed it's doors and sold off it's inventory. Not one of my primary
sources for parts, but, any closure is a loss to the restoration
hobby.

HEY ENVIRO-LEFTIES; How about a little challenge??? by

A Canadian firm has released a new catalytic converter for cars
that removes almost all pollutants from auto exhausts. It will take
a stream from a regular converter and remove a further 98% of the
pollutants. A regular converter costs $300 to the industry. This one
costs $1400. Do you think...

License plates for Yellow '05 GT by

I'm looking for ideas for the Virginia plates for my new GT. Many of
the good ones are gone, especially anything with the word PONY in it,
although I was able to reserve PONY V8. The limit is seven
letters/numbers. Any ideas from you imaginative folks?
Thanks! BTW, got it out of the shop with the...

bell housing for a 3 speed transmission on a 1966 ford 289 by
TC66
I bought a rebuilt 1966 Ford 289 and I need to find a bell housing to mount my
original 3 speed manual transmission. Can anyone tell me which bell housing I
need to mount the transmission to? I hear there are different bell housings (5
or 6 bolt) and I want to get the correct one.

The Good, The Bad And The Ugly From Shelby by

First the bad news. It looks like Shelby's first new high-performance
Ford will be a sport... I'm sorry, performance utility vehicle (PUV).
The 550-horsepower vehicle will be based on a Ford Expedition, but
will have the motor from the Ford GT supercar, 22-inch wheels,
upgraded brakes/exhaust, a...

2005 Mustang GT prices by

Wow am I bummed out. Went to the local dealer and they want $32K for a
standard deluxe GT. Their $5K mark up includes custom wheels and a window
tint package and they are not dealing. I didn't even look at the prices on the
Roush mustangs. But the funny thing was it looked like the dealer...

GT40s vs GT40Ps - The Numbers by
[email protected]
I thought the old 5-oh/302 guys would be interested in this info.
----
The GT40's have 1.85"/1.54" valves, GT40P's have 1.85"/1.46" valves,
and the stock E7TE's have 1.78"/1.46" valves.
Based on that information, I would expect the GT40 Iron head to
significantly outflow the P's, but that would...
