Today I fancy a(n)..... by Bob Sherunckle
MX5..... It's just occured to me that if I were to flog the recently acquired A4, there might be enough in it to buy an MX5. I could go to work and do hillclimbs and sprints in an MX5. I do like the A4 - a lot - but as above, I could do a lot with an MX5. What do we reckon to the following ?

Tire pressure sensors? by Paul Dhuse
Hi all, A friend has a '08 A4 Avant (U.S. spec), and we were wondering if anyone knows how reliable and accurate the tire pressure sensors are. Are they good enough to rely on to know that your tires are soft? Or is a good tire gauge and a weekly/monthly check still the best route? Thanks. --

I have a US 2007 Audi A3 3.2 with DSG. I recently noticed that the transmission slips for about 1/3 second when accelerating. Any tap on the accelerator causes the tach to jump by 500 RPM then jerk back down to where it was. I'm wondering if this is normal revving in preparation for a...

I have a 2001 S4 with the Bose stereo. The driver side rear speaker rattles a lot, mostly whenever the bass hits. Does this mean it is blown, or could something just be loose? I would like to remove the speaker from the rear deck so that I may examine it. I tried prying up the grille but I...

Hello all, I have been looking for a used Audi now for about nine months - something in the under $10k range - and viola!, came across this newsgroup. Since the economy (U.S.) has been so bad, I've notice that prices for many used luxury cars, like the Audi's, have dropped significantly in the...

I saw one yesterday, they must be new in the UK, White..........very nice. Reading the data it appears the 2 litre has enough power (turbo) but I wonder if they will fit a 3.2 eventually. It's on my wish list....no matter what.
