156 Air Con Fixed At Last! by
[email protected]
Yee ha! Cold air coming out now, so no longer do I need to be in a
sweat box. So, the fault was the air mixing actuator, which is behind
the dash on the side of the heater matrix. Total cost for work by Alfa
dealer, =A3130. That included getting a 147 for 2 days (although the
gear linkage was...

Cycle Carrier Advice by
Graeme Cosgrove
I need to carry two bikes on my 156. I don't want a roof rack because
of the impact on the already poor fuel consumption. Can anyone
recommend a boot mounted carrier that "works" e.g. doesn't knacker the
paintwork, holds the bikes securely, etc etc. Ideally I dont want a
lighting bar either...

Rear window again by
Steve Byatt
I know this seems to have been covered a million times but.. rear window
stuck open; it's happened before but has sorted itself out. This time it
seems well and truly stuck. How do I get the door panel off? Apologies if
this seems really stupid as I know a lot of you out there do really...

Alfa 147 - Right hand bend slipping problem by
Tom[_3_]
Hi
I have a 2001 147 2.0 T-Spark which has develpoed an annoying habit of
slipping occasionally when going round right hand bends. It doesn't have a
problem with left hand bends!
Sometimes the VDC light will start flashing until I straighten up and
sometimes it will slip as well. It always...

New tyres for 156 - Eagle GSD3 v GSD2 by
[email protected]
Hi All,
I need to get a new set of rear tyres for my Alfa 156 2.5 V6.
Currently It has Avon ZV3s on the front and Eagle F1s (don't know which
revision) on the back, which is how it was when I bought it.
I need to replace the rears now, and the fronts probably in the summer,
so want to get 4...

Leather Seat Covers for a Spider by
Mark Hickey
Hi, all....
I recently had an episode where the logical part of my brain was
apparently starved for oxygen, and bought an '85 Spider Veloce. The
good news is, the previous owner had recently overhauled the engine,
replaced the top, installed Eibach springs, Koni shocks, Exip wheels,
Michelin...
