Window installation by Busdriver
My '70 bus rear window-seal is leaking. I saw the water dripping out of the seal on the inside. So I would like to change the window seal. Do I need to put a sealant inside the seal groove (window groove or body groove)? Or should it seal just fine the way it is? Thanks

mid-late 90's VW Mags free in Seattle by [email protected]
I've got a bunch of older VW mags from ~95-2000 ready to go. Mostly Trends and DB&HVW's. A few VolksWorld and VW Customs & Classics. Not in pristine condition nor complete sets, but plenty 'o content and fun to see how styles have changed. Some even date back to the days when Bikinis were...

Recommendations for a cheap radio for a 66 beetle by [email protected]
While waiting for my original Sapphire to get repaired, I'd like to get some cheap tunes in my car. Anyone have a recommendation for a cheap AM or AM/FM radio that will fit in the stock dash space? Something in the $30 range would be ideal ;) Roy

Windshield Installation by Mac
Just picked up locally a new windshield for my 75 Baja. Broke the original trying to reinstall after a self done, cheap paint job. While I was putting it in, with a new seal, the string I was using kept on tearing into the seal. I didn't have any problems with the other 3 windows. Anyone have...

Speedometer cable broke...repair said> by Tom Nakashima
My speedometer cable broke on my '66 bug. It was making a whining noise, thought it was the brakes at first on the driver's side front. The noise got louder as I increased the speed, and quieter as I decreased the speed. Then I head a pop sound and the needle of the speedometer went right...
