Jazz_Azz
On the Miatas (mine is a 2000) that have Air bags (Not sure what year
that began, since my 94 Chevy S10 P/U doesn't have any), can you and
do the make one of those dash board topper/protectors, that can be
placed on one?? Or might that interfere with the passenger air bag

flashing airbag light, how make it stop? by
~hpXH535~
Hi,
I bought a '92 that was crashed. The repair shop didn't replace the airbag.
It deployed in the crash. So now the airbag light flashes continuously.
How can I make it stop flashing?
Thanks,
Mike

Differential Leak by
G. Mack
I have a 1996 Miata. I notice a leak in the differential today. It's
where the right stub axle connects to the differential. What's mostly
likely costing this leak?
I found any article in miata.net to replace the differential seal, but
I can only find this part on line for a 1991 Miata. I'm ...

Miata books? by
Carbon
I like my MSM so much that I'm actually going to do my own maintenance.
And also, make plans for next summer when the warranty runs out. I just
ordered some books on Amazon (see below). Anyone know of any other good
ones? One called "The Enthusiast's Shop Manual" looked very good but
seemed more...

$133.19 for a #$%#$% key!!! by
Carbon
I went to my local lock & safe to get a key cut for my 04 msm, only to
discover it has a transponder which only the dealer can program. I call
the local Mazda dealer, Lakeland Automall (http://lakelandautomall.com) in
Lakeland, FL, and the fellow I spoke to said the key would be $46. A bit
of a...

Oil Overfilled by
Gary[_3_]
Not the first time I over filled oil in my '91 Miata. The last time I
overfilled a couple of quarts and had to bring it to a shop to drain out the
excess oil.
Now, I have added about a half-quart too much oil. Its about a quarter of an
inch above the word FULL on the dip stick.
Should I once...

Hot MX5 by
Mike
Now that it's really hot here in PA our 2006 MX5 dashboard vents put out
a lot of hot air. With dashboard vents in the Open mode and the fan
speed on low, the air coming out of the vents is pretty warm even when
cruising at high speed. With the fan off its bearable. Any suggestions?
Is there...

Aftermarket intake questions by
Dana Rohleder
I am very happy with the performance of my Miata, but I am wondering if I
can improve my current performance AND fuel economy with an aftermarket
intake. Here is the rub - I currently get an AVERAGE of 30 MPG in daily
driving, which is, from what I understand, better than average economy for
my...

The oil pressure of my '90 Miata (96kmiles) at idle is 15. The highest

After market seat recommendations by
G. Mack
I'm looking for something that holds me snug for autocross and track
day, and won't kill my back on the street(I'm OK with using a pillow
for street driving to improve comfort). I've read the reviews at
Miata.net and the web, but I'm a bit worry about fit. I have to drive
a bit to visit any shops...

That was before I had a boot. Now that I have one, I can't seem to find that

DIY Randall Cowl Air Intake by
G. Mack
http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?deptid=4528&parentid=0&stocknumber=05-27000
I've read good things about this intake. But looking at the picture,
it seems like a very easy DIY project. Beside not being able to use
carbon fiber, all one has to do is cut a hole in the firewall and
attach an air...

Mazda Heating & Air Conditioning by

My 2001 mazda 626 started having heating and air conditioning problems
several months ago. I noticed the heat would only work when the car was
moving. The blower is functioning so this is not a blower issue. As summer
arrived I noticed the air is not working as well. Any ideas on where I...

Should I upgrade the sway bar end links and bushings? by
G. Mack
I have a 96 Miata with about 40K miles. I'm planning to replace my
front sway bar with a FM front sway bar to help with understeer and
hopefully better handling.
While I was at the Flying Miata site, I saw some sway bar end
links($120 for front or read) and polyurethane bushings($39). Are
either...

This was done just over a year ago.
The third failure for this chain store in 3 years, the most consistency
I have seen from them on anything.
Do you think that they finally got it right this year?
The videos are just plain sad. In one part you can see and hear the guy
telling his manager, "we...
