The Only Difference Between Winners And Loosers by [email protected]
Most people who don’t have success in life wonder about how this is possible. Why do some have all the luck and others barely make enough money to get to the end of the month. All over the world thousands of books are written and translated about how to become successful, how to achieve whatever...

Just installed a new Edelbrock Performer 289 intake and Edelbrock 500 cfm carb with electronic choke and can't get it started for the life of me! When I put the distributor back in it was right at the mark of where I removed it, couldn't get it started. So I pulled it again and set the engine to...

LF: Source for original factory 97 cobra floor mats (dealer no-go) by [email protected]
I am looking to procure a set of factory correct floor mats for my 97 cobra. No 18" tall snakes or emblems wanted. Anyone know where I can get said floormats? Dealer brought in a set, but they are not the same as the ones I have - they dont fit properly. My guess is they are replacements for newer...

Brake caliper rebuild question. by Mark C.
I'm rebuilding the stock ft calipers in my '69. What's a good lubricant to use on the seals that's compatible with brake fluid or should I just use brake fluid itself? It's not a good lubricant. -- Mark -- "I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates who once said, "I drank what?". " Val...

Remove, or not remove that is the question (Air Silencer) by AW
Anyone have an opinion on removing the silencer from a 99-03(4) GT? I have read where you gain nothing, +5 RWHP, and -5 RWHP. I went ahead and pulled mine off the other day, and I swear that while she's louder she feels a little more sluggish. Now I'm wondering if I should put it back on again....

mustang purchase help by [email protected]
Hello, I'm looking at a 1965 ivy green mustang conv. Since it is a big investment for me I'd like a get some helpful feedback. It does not have a power top, but does have a/c & pb & ps. Is it a waste to pay a premium for the AC feature in a convertible? Does the non powr top hurt resale value?...

Question about horsepower by goodnigh
The factory rating for my '71 Grande is from 285 to 300 HP depending on where you look. My question is, does the 285 HP rating mean the same today as it did in 1971. Like the octane rating '71 vs. '06 the numbers have changed. Octane 91 today means roughly 98-99 octane in '71. Did the same thing...
