WTF! A Mid-Engine, TT, V6 Vette? by NoOp[_2_]
http://www.autoweek.com/article/20100317/CARNEWS/100319875 I think Team Vette has done a masterful job over the past decade or so, but what are they thinking with switching to a mid-engine design and dumping the V8 for a twin-turbo V6? Patrick

Anti-knock sensor by Richard[_1_]
Is there an anti-knock sensor on the '94 Mustang GT? I'm guessing there isn't but wanted confirmation. If there is, where is it located? -- Richard

2005+ suspension upgrades by Andy Smith
I want to lower my 2007 GT (when it arrives) but I'm not sure if I want to go with the Ford Racing "Handling Pack" for around $1100 or just get an Eibach Pro Kit. Anyone have experience with lower their 2005+ Mustang? Thanks, Andy

'67 289 Timing/Power Questions by [email protected]
Hi all, my 67 started running poorly all the sudden last week. It has 96K on it, replaced cap, rotor, plugs, wires last year. Still has points (I know this is on my list...). Had the Autolite 2100 carb rebuilt last year. Still seems to run rich, but generally runs well. I had read some info...

Bending power steering line by [email protected]
Is it very difficult to bend steel power steering lines. I have a 66 inline 6 mustang that I need to replace the steel portion ofhe return line from the pump to the control valve. It needs to be custom bend and had rather do it myself. It has gotten kinked where it connects to the control valve and...

new comp cams camshaft scratched.. by Amiral Adama
hello I've just received my new comp cams camshaft for my 1965 289ci's Ford Mustang. The bad news is that the french customs had opened the box and did a little scratch on the last cam journal, where the last cam bearing will be over. It can bee only felt with the nail and it is 4mm long.

Part Search by Spike
Just installed a new C4 in my 65FB and while trying to align the shifter (oem full console) I found that the shift control assembly is worn out and needs to be replaced. Though maybe someone might have one from doing a conversion from auto to manual.... or have leads on where one might be...

1988 Mustang LX Paint by MD[_2_]
I bought a 1988 Ford Mustang LX back in March of 2007 which was given a new paint job and was pretty much restored from front to back, top to bottom. My question is if the paint job was done within 6 months of my purchasing the car, (September, 2006) then would I have an arguement about rust...

Drifting by [email protected]
All day Sunday, while working on my car I'm hearing these squeeling tires and the buzzing of fart-canned fours. They sometimes run autocross in the parking lot at the horse race track near my house, so I figure that's what it is. The noise continues even after dinner so my wife and I drive down...

Ford's "safety" oriented ad. Bill Ford by [email protected]
I'm wondering if this is driving motivation behind people buying cars? Somehow I doubt it. If it was, they wouldn't use CELL PHONES while driving.

blueprint or model of 04 GT trunk? by japhar81
So I'm breaking down and upgrading the POS audio I have in the GT. Definately not ghetto head-pounding bass or anything, but I'm putting in some alpine F#1 stuff, including a pair of small subs. Anyway, I'd like to build a nice amp rack and enclosure in the trunk, but I'm having a hell of a time...

Slow day in ramfm... by dwight
So. I've had it. TFrog is in bad shape, and I can't let it suffer any more. As it is, I get the hurky-jerky starting up in first, especially when the car's warmed up. But I've been routinely skipping 2nd gear, going right to 3rd from 1st. While this has greatly increased my fuel efficiency, it's...
