the slope be slippery. by Brent[_4_]
Remember when it was just "kooks" like me that complained about 'court costs', 'admistrative courts', and other ways that 'streamlined' the process and violated our rights? Remember when us kooks said that more abuses would follow from these small ones? Seems Indianapolis had to prove it correct....

E85 in carbureted cars by Bret Ludwig
Is anyone out there drilling out the jets and putting on other tweaks to burn E85 in carburetor engine cars? Lots easier than trying to convert EFI engines to FFVs.

help! 1997 Hyundai Accent, gear grinding by bri j
I just bought a 1997 Hyundai Accent (5 speed/manual trans, 136k miles) and it's got a few kinks (as I expected, with that many miles). I'd like to have a better idea of what's going on before heading to the mechanic, although that's coming up soon. First, third gear grinds, going in and out. There...

Right now (10 AM, 11/10) there are about 8 or more NY state troopers on speed patrol spread out between exits 42 and 45 (Watertown, just South of Watertown). This is a very short distance, it amounts to one statie every half mile (or something like that). I got nabbed by one. Not for...
