GPLRank Challange Tracks? by
APLer
I have decided to try to go the for "super ranking" (all the tracks and
cars therein) in GPLRank - as my time for the norschlieffe seems to have
stalled around the 9:00 mark - and I find that some tracks - notably
Anderstrop for one cannot be gotten to without "web page registration"
something I...

Blue Flags In rfactor by
David Fisher's Left Testicle
So what do the blue flags in rFactor actually mean?
According to most of the microbial life on the open servers, the blue flags
mean you have to pull over and slow down to let the faster driver though.
The poor little ******s seem incapable of overtaking anything without
ramming it off the road...

iRacing Transmission and Drivetrain? by
David Fisher's Left Testicle
Has the above been put right yet? iRacing is supposed to be a training tool,
yet it allows flat shifting and has a homosexual auto clutch. It's about
time they forced the use of a clutch.

iRacing Costs by
David Fisher's Left Testicle
Personally, I think it's too expensive as it is and they need more payment
plans. I don't mind paying for the content but i think the monthly sub is
too high, especially if you don't get much time a month to race.
A pay-as-you-race scheme would capture a whole swath of new people, imo.
Any...

iRacing - my opinion based on a short sampling by
jeffareid
A neighbor used the PR-RADICAL-ONE-MONTH try out iRacing recently and I got the
oppurtunity to do a few test sessions at various tracks.
The Radical drove OK, but some of the cars, have deliberately diffcult setups
that can't be fixed. The SRF (scca Spec Racer Ford), was particularly difficult
to...

iRacing's poor customer service and is overpriced. by
RobertMcTigue
After a year on the iracing service I find it to be fair at best. A
"premium service" price should produce "premium service". Paying for a
5 star hotel and getting 2 star service is iracing!! Aside from the
few glitches in the software, there protest system is setup so the
steward can talk down to...

Best bang for the buck home cockpit frame? by
GaryR
I'm looking for a friend that has a great wife and wants me to set him
up. I'll be using a real racing seat and most likely a G25 Wheel with
a real Momo wheel (350mm wheel) and a billit aluminum seqential
shifter afapted to it for starters. I have this one in mind for now,
looks solid and very...

Modifying a G25 by
GaryR
I've looked around, googled, etc. but I find no info on this. I'm
going to adapt a Momo steering wheel from a race car i'm disassembling
and mount it to the G25 base using an aluminum adapter i'm making.
It's fairly simple, unscrew the 6 mounting screws, unplug the two
wheel mounted push buttons...

FYI, for those of you that still have GPL on their harddrive somewhere,
Updated GPL Mosport is now available on the GPLMZ site (and thru
Savefile.com),
which combines past updates and enhances them further in order to make a
more realistic depiction of the track in 66/67 (for instance, adds the...

rFactor: C6-R Corvette by

As my cheap* 3-month stay at iRacing* draws to a close I've been trying to avoid
getting the iBends on the way out. That led me to this mod the other day. At first
it looked and sounded great, but felt a bit weird. Then I messed with the...
