Problem. Lately can hear a metallic rattling noise coming from the rear
on the drivers side when I drive over rough spots in the road.
I removed that jack and tool kit from the trunk as I thought that could

Power Steering Rack Replacement by

I have 1992 Jetta (1.8L,Gas, 5 speed) with power steering and am trying
to replace the steering rack. I have disconnected everything and am
able to slide it back and forth but am unable to remove it from the
car. Can anyone tell me what else must be done in order to remove it.

all the plugs in the fusebox and the ends that connect to the blubs and
got most of them working.

Golf 3 - clunking when reversing by

I have a Golf 3, that give quite a clunk when in reverse, it does not
matter if its straight line of turning.
I dont belive its the CVs as I have replaced the driveshafts complete
recently and the noise still remains.
There is no clunk when in forward gears.
