I HAD TO TRY IT by Rene
How I Made $30,000 In 30 Days with $11! Is it really possible for you to make so much money so quickly? From my 10 years of business training and practice, I thought this to be impossible, when I came across Johns' article a month and a half ago. I won't waste your time and mine trying to convince...

Weird oil burning problem by Mike Romain
I have seen those symptoms before on engines with broken rings. A small chunk of ring will vibrate itself up the side of the piston and make a hole. It then will puke out oil until the ring itself moves along and the hole gets closed so no more oil goes past. Drive for a bit and it opens again...

Both head gaskets have a failure at the same place which has also caused some corrosion on the aluminium head between the coolant passage and cylinder #1 (and #6 respectively). 80% of the damage has been removed by...

Need help identifying a Cadillac Northstar component by [email protected]
Hello! I pride myself in being somewhat knowledgable with GM EFI systems, but the Northstar motor in some ways is quite different from other motors that I have dealt with. I've been asked by a coworker with a '95 Eldorado to help him figure out what is wrong with his car. It idles too high, most...

94 Lumina 3.1 cruise control by some nut
Recently I noticed that my cruise does not compesate for hills. I can go from 60 to 40mph on a hill and the cruise doesn't even try to pick up. When I touch the gas it comes to life. There is no cable bind. Everything is clean and appears to be in place. I am leaning toward the cable being too...

Chemically Regenerative Braking? by [email protected]
Regenerative braking is touted as one of the energy-saving advantages of hybrid/electric vehicles. Without going into the merits of that claim, I'd like to ask if there might be any way for the regenerative braking idea to work for regular combustion-powered vehicles (without resorting to...
