I HAD TO TRY IT by
Rene
How I Made $30,000 In 30 Days with $11!
Is it really possible for you to make so much money so quickly? From my 10
years of business training and practice, I thought this to be impossible,
when I came across Johns' article a month and a half ago. I won't waste your
time and mine trying to convince...

Weird oil burning problem by
Mike Romain
I have seen those symptoms before on engines with broken rings. A small
chunk of ring will vibrate itself up the side of the piston and make a
hole. It then will puke out oil until the ring itself moves along and
the hole gets closed so no more oil goes past. Drive for a bit and it
opens again...

How much can I machine of a Toyota V6 3VZ-E head ? by
Darryl Tunesi
Hi
I've just taken the heads off my 4-runner 3VZ-E engine due a blown head
gasket. Both head gaskets have a failure at the same place which has
also caused some corrosion on the aluminium head between the coolant
passage and cylinder #1 (and #6 respectively).
80% of the damage has been removed by...

I've been really, Really Blessed the last year or so with help from

Need help identifying a Cadillac Northstar component by
[email protected]
Hello! I pride myself in being somewhat knowledgable with GM EFI
systems, but the Northstar motor in some ways is quite different from
other motors that I have dealt with. I've been asked by a coworker
with a '95 Eldorado to help him figure out what is wrong with his car.
It idles too high, most...

Unbelievable: Belt will not fit on new tensioner! by
Julie P.
Hi everyone, hopefully this will be my last "help" thread here for a while!
I just finished installing the new belt tensioner on my 91 Chevy Cavalier (4
cylinder). That was supposed to have been the hard part. Now, believe it or
not, the serpentine belt will not fit on! I am about 1 inch short of...

94 Lumina 3.1 cruise control by
some nut
Recently I noticed that my cruise does not compesate for hills. I
can go from 60 to 40mph on a hill and the cruise doesn't even try to
pick up. When I touch the gas it comes to life. There is no cable bind.
Everything is clean and appears to be in place.
I am leaning toward the cable being too...

96 Nissan Quest stalls when turning corner by
P&L
Just recently my Quest has stalled when turning a corner. It just
quits. I put it in neutral and it starts back up immediately. Once my
wife was driving it and the brake, check engine lights came on when
turning a corner but it did not stall. It has only happened 3 times in
the past 3 weeks. ...

Deteriorating Rubber Brake Lines by
Dave Wick
I have a '94 Dodge Grand Caravan with 130K miles. I recently noticed that
one of the front brakes didn't seem to be releasing properly after the
brakes had been applied. I did some checking and found that the insides of
the rubber lines will deteriorate over time and restrict the back flow...

Chemically Regenerative Braking? by
[email protected]
Regenerative braking is touted as one of the energy-saving advantages
of hybrid/electric vehicles. Without going into the merits of that
claim, I'd like to ask if there might be any way for the regenerative
braking idea to work for regular combustion-powered vehicles (without
resorting to...

What is the "safe" way to tow each combination?
Here is what I think I know:
RWD/FWD automatic: tow with drive wheels OFF the ground...
