156 suspension rattle by quinny
Hi I have a rattle on the front left suspension, similar sound to metal tapping against top of strut when going over bumps. I have checked the damper, springs and arch trims but cannot find where noise is coming from. Has anyone had similar problem? thanks Steve -- quinny

Fuel meter backlight problem by Tiger[_1_]
Hi, I have got a X reg (2000) Alfa Romeo 156, the backlight of the fuel meter is very weak, I think perhaps the temprature, clock and fuel meter is using the same backlight, the bulb moved a bit, so the backlight of fuel meter is weaker, how can I fix it ? Regards to everyone

Misfire, engine light flashing by R D S
Hi, our Alfa 156, 2.0TS, 2002 is idling like a dog and the engine light is flashing when revved over about 3000. Diagnostic just says misfire on cylinder 1. Spark plug? I sure as hell hope so. Which is cyl 1? Is it to the right as I stand at the rad looking in the bonnet?
