'79 front suspension by JohnO
We're still at the beginning of the saga of this car, but I have a couple questions on the front suspension and what we might do next. (the front brake upgrade is still high on our list...but junior needs to earn a few more paychecks to buy them) We replaced the rod and bushings that connect the...

1989 GT Cruise Control Problems by Jinx
I have a 1989 Mustang GT that has developed cruise control problems. When you set the cruise, it acts like it isn't doing anything, but if you take your foot off the gas, and you gently tap on the accelerator, then it will bring it up to the set speed. Then, once you take your foot off the gas, it...

Four questions about my 95 Cobra by headrusch
I'm the original owner....and where it was a daily driver for awhile, its just not getting used much anymore. 16K on the OD so far....and I'd rather keep it than sell it. Question 1: The tires have good tread, but they have flat spots from storage...and they are 10 years old. Its time to replace...

What is the proper weight for a 2004 GT? Do they use standard or synthetic oil? (As you may have guessed, I do not have an owners manual yet. Its on the way!) Thanks! Brian

Further to "Taking my act on the road..." by dwight
Seattle was wonderful. I mean, the city is okay, if you don't mind the "liquid sunshine." We were at a hotel on the Bellevue side, but did manage to tour Seattle, as well. Did some driving around the "lake", and were impressed with some of the homes and gardens in that area. But, really - too...

99 GT Questions by Brian C
Hey all, I've got two questions about my '99 GT. 1) When the car is running between 1500-2000 RPM (any gear), it produces a "whirl" noise. Go under 1500, or over 2000, and it goes away. 2) Certain times, none predictable, when applying my clutch, it does not feel smooth. However, say 5 minutes...

warranty question by [email protected]
Quick question on warranty's, more specifically transfers of warrantys. I bought a used 04 GT with a hair over 12k on the clock, so it is still under warranty. How exactly does this work when you take it to a dealer? Is it pretty cut and dry, or do they hassle you due to you not being the...

Mustang GT 2001 Gas pedal breaks off problem by we8612
Here is an ongoing problem that I have with this car. The plastic gas pad or pedal keeps breaking off. Poor design by Ford and it hard to replace. However, someone else must be having this problem and has a cure for it. Just wondering if anyone can help out.
