Dead Battery current leak by Jeremy
So I had this electrical problem. Last May at 52,000 miles. The battery spontaneously died while at a baseball game. My wife insisted she hadn't left any lights on. We had the car towed home. The alternator tested good. We replaced the battery and did not have a problem for another year. Last week...

Is my '99 SC1 burning, or leaking oil? by Ken Very Big Liar
While driving to a park yesterday I noticed the oil pressure light come on for just a second. I got to the park, did my hike and when I started to leave I checked the level. Oil wasn't even touching the dipstick from what I could tell. I drove it home as long as the oil pressure light stayed...

'93 SC2 - high HCs >:( by Philip Nasadowski
Well, it just about passed the test this year, the HC's were high - .66 Vs the .80 limit. The NOx and Co were low, less than 30% of the limit. It's got a recent cat, new injectors, and the motor was reringed a few months ago. Mileage is generally horrid on the thing - low 20's in town, mid 30's...

96 SW1 ruptured transmission by Chuck
Hi. I would appreciate the group's advice about this.... My 96 SW1 (60K miles) began to have a whining noise yesterday. I looked under the hood, saw nothing, drove it some more, then noticed that the tranny fluid was running onto the ground. I had it towed to a Saturn dealer near me. So I have two...

twistec or OEM motor mounts? by marx404
I need motor mounts for my 94 SL2 (dogbone mounts). I am comparing twistec ($80. a pair) to stock mounts. From what I have read, the twiscecs will not dampen the engine vibration like the stock mounts will. On the other hand, my mounts are already pretty worn and it doesnt vibrate al that bad,...

Saturn LW300 cargo area liner by Art
Anyone find a cheaper cargo area liner for a Saturn L300 wagon. Factory version is $90. Thanks. Seems high since the one I bought for a 300M trunk was about half that at my Chrysler dealer and a perfect fit.

Rear brake adjustment: 95 SW1 by David Teichholtz
Strange problem. On the rear brakes, the slot in the backing plate thru which would normally insert a brake adjusting tool to spin the star wheel is on the wrong part of the backing plate. On the passenger side of the car, the self adjuster and the star wheel are toward the left,or rear of...

? Bicycle Rack for 2003 Vue ? by Vue Don
I need to purchase a bicycle rack for my 2003 Vue. I would rather have a rack that hangs off of the rear hatch than the dealer style that would require me to lift the bikes above the roof of the Vue. Can anyone recommend a hatch type bike rack for the Vue? Thanks, Don

Another 'leak' - AC drain clogged? by Jeff Pesula
I forgot to also ask about the AC drain. I have the classic wet passenger floor. This may be related to the sunroof problem, but I want to make sure that the AC (Always in use) is not going to create problems. Any help on how to get to the drain line ('96 SL2 DOHC) would be helpful.

French-Made Valeo Starter --- Piece of Junk by jls
Did you buy a Saturn because you didn't want to get left standing or walking? Did you think you were going to get a 100k miles out of it before it started to fall apart? Have you now been disabused of the notion that Saturn makes a car to compete in dependability with Hondas, Nissans,...
