How about demanding photo ID to buy gas??? by Speeders & Drunk Drivers are MURDERERS
This would help in the battle to keep the millions of criminals with suspended licenses or no license ( illegal aliens) off the roads. Yes i know, they could still have someone else buy the gas for their car but this would certainly make it tougher for them to drive illegally. No more credit...

HELP! by the_lower_class_brat
Okay so I admit it I'm a bad guy, I had my probationary licence suspended for 30 days for having whatsoever alcohol in my system, by the way I was not impaired driving and did pass the blow test (if I were to have my full). Anyways 30 days is nothing, it's the fact that I lost my licence since the...

Reseda Blvd. @ the 101 by Carl Rogers
Hi All, Let's start off the morning w/ some Los Angeles trivia: >From southbound Reseda Boulevard, city signs refer to US Federal Route 101 (US-101) as "101 West" and "101 East". This is geographically correct, since US-101 has a latitudinal path between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara...

'May I search your car?' attempts move to the home. by Brent P[_1_]
Despite jaybird's claim that the car and home are different and the tactics would not be applied to the home. We now have the "Knock and Talk". Knock and Talk is like the officer that pulls you over for a marker light being burned out and then tries to get you to allow him to search your car,...

Sometimes cops do have funny stories. by Doug Maddox
A buddy of mine is a Sargent with a local department. He's a very laid back and it takes a lot to get him excited. Well, he was on his way to work driving his police cruiser (a dark brown crown vic with 6 antennas in the trunk lid and lights in the back window) and someone was tailgating him. He...

Are pedestrians really that worthless? by Corporal Clegg had a wooden leg
I'll always yield to someone entering a crosswalk lawfully & safely; I'm no savage. But In Portland there's a widely held misconception that wherever you enter the road there's an imaginary crosswalk. Another example of a false belief people like to hold simply because it benefits them. A cursory...
