Should air cooled VWs be banned from the Freeways? by [email protected]
I believe Air-Cooled VeeDubs need to be banned from freeways or any place where the speed limit is 65 mph and above for that matter. These cars don't belong on limited access highways. As logic dictates their engines are too inadequate for high speed use plus they aren't safe when drivin fast...

1965 Bug disc brakes by Terry[_4_]
Does anyone know of anybody that offers a front disc brake kit for a pre-66' bug with the king pin type front end ? I have had no luck finding one and I am told that the ball joint type front end will not bolt in to a 65' model bug either. Any clues or help would be appreciated...........

Going Electric by pico[_2_]
Hey, ya know I am tired of keeping up four ACVWs and I'm thinking of turning the pristine '72 to electric for in-town use, always under 25 miles per day. Was wondering if y'all had any impression or experience with these guys: http://www.e-volks.com/ John Boy (stafford)
