OT - GMC Envoy/Chevy Trailblazer by PerfectReign
I know this is way OT for the froup, but I was curious if one had answers. I couldn't find things on edmunds. Back in '01, when I wanted to trade in my '95 Jimmy (145,000 miles in six years) I looked at the TB/Envoy. I didn't think they were that big. Recently I've been noticing them on the road...

Improves Engine Performance by john
Your local gas station probably offers you 3 levels of gasoline, like gold, silver and bronze. These typically have different levels of octane in them and you will generally get a little better mileage for the more expensive type. In addition to different octane levels there are many...

1998 SC1 Fast Idle by Brock Bolton
I just got home from work and while driving my 1998 SC1 at a stop light the engine suddenly started to rev, despite the clutch being fully depressed, and my foot on the brake. It got up to about 3000rpm, then gradually settled back down to around 2000rpm. Now, when I come to a stop and put in the...

Metalic noise from 97 SC2 by Hal97
Last month I suddenly started hearing a metalic noise that sounds like it's coming from the rear wheels. The noise is rythmic and repeated over and over only when the car is in motion. The noise is similiar to that of a knife blade being sharpened on a stone if that make any sense. I realize that...

02 SC1 shakes by Gif J. Peg
My SC1 occasionally shakes when idling after initial warm up. It sounds like the engine is going to stall sometimes. It is happening more frequently. Plugs were replaced about a month ago. The car generally runs fine, but when you come up to a stop at a red light, once in a while the RPMs...

Please help!!!! My 2002 Saturn SL 1 is stalling by [email protected]
I am having problems with my Saturn and was even considering trading it in. The car has about 38,000 miles on it. I had the 35,000 mile tune up, oil changes every 3000 miles, spark plugs changed, ignition coils & modules change etc... This car keeps giving me a hard time when I start it up....

Seatbelt Retractor doesn't by JimR
My driver's side upper seatbelt (shoulder belt) on my 97 SL2 stopped retracting, or locking for that matter. 1) How to I remove the trim on the B-post to access it? Chilton skipped this instruction completely. 2) I'm betting that the part is a dealer-only. True? Thanks,

Info on 02 Vue by Tikka3006
I am looking at buying a 02 Vue AWD and would be interested in hearing good & bad experencies with this model from owners. Any recalls on this I should be aware of? What about some Vue models experiencing suspension collapse during hard cornering? thanks, tikka3006

95 SL2 - a/c & cruise related? by Greg
My daughter's 95 SL2 a/c compressor won't come on - the a/c light comes on but no compressor. The cruise also does not work. Could these be related somewhere, somehow? All the fuses look good in the fuse panel. Thanks.

L200 Antenna by Burt
Anyone know how difficult and what the process is to replace the antenna on a 2003 L200? I sheared it off at the base. Not sure if this is a job that needs to be done at the dealership of whether I can do it. -- Burt Baker

No spark on 97 SL2 by miskier
I am not getting any spark on my 97 SL2. The car was running great, then it just wouldn't start when I tried to go home after work. I've already replaced the Crank Position Sensor and the Ignition Control module. Should I be able to see engine speed on the tachometer while cranking? The tach...

Sales policy by marx404
Yep, they discontinued the L series, your parents were lucky to find a remaining wagon, they were great wagons. Yep, there is that commercial "What's the catch" emphasizing the no hassle no haggle policy still in effect. We still are like that. The $299. standard dealers fee is standard nowadays at...
