today i parked the chevy and it wont start. turns over and it gets fule but no spark any ideas on what to look for

specs: 98 ford explorer, sohc, v6, 4.0 when changing the transmission fluid, is there anyway short of removing the transmission & torque converter to drain the fluid in there as well? if so, how do you get fluid back in there? Tia, -Inet
