I have a 1984 Corvette and would like to know a few things.
First of all, I have a few minor cosmetic concerns, such as a loose
headliner, foggy windshield and a few control knobs are either loose or
have fallen off and will not stay on (headlights, air conditioning). I
have blackouts and one of...

Mike
I need some help. My 1963 fuel sending unit has not worked since I replace
it 12 years ago. I hooked up the wires and tested it out of the car and
it worked. After I installed it to the tank the fuel gauge registered full
all the time.
I finally got fed up with always having to visually check...

Service column lock? by
yar
Hi
The battery on my 2001 c5 vette was flat today and now I have the error
message "Service the column lock".
I did have the car serviced a few weeks ago and the safety recall for the
lock was completed at that time.
Thoughts please.

First oil change. When? by
Ron Stewart
The chief mechanic at the dealer where I bought my 2005 coupe recommended
that I get my first oil change at 1000 miles. Is this necessary? He is a
long time friend of mine and I have bought a 1987 Vet and 2 Olds Auroras
there so I sort of trust his wisdom.

heat & glue by
TF
Hi
I had a couple of scratches fixed at a very reputable body shop and it looks
like the glue on the back and even part of the front got hot enough to allow
some separation.
Only one spot is really noticable and I'm wondering if I should ask them to
fix it.
It looks like the easiest way would be...
