Corvette C6.R in iRacing by
jeffareid
The Corvette quarterly magazine mentioned that iRacing will be
including the C6.R in the near future. The article also mentioned
that they liked the C6 add-on for rFactor. They also mentioned
the laser scanned tracks in iRacing, but not being a review, they
didn't go into the physics of the games.

Best rFactor mods? by
Andrew MacPherson[_2_]
I'm on another sabbatical away from iRacing and, as usual, find myself messing
about with all my other sims looking for a bit of stress-free, offline AI racing to
scratch the racing itch.
LFS is out because the AI is shockingly poor. GT Evo has failed to grow on me even
though it probably offers...

Best PS2 F1 Sim by
Billy[_5_]
Since people are asking if this NG is dead, I'll throw out something new,
or, old in this case.
I don't sim race any more. I just don't have the time to spend on practice
and car setup. So I'd like to just do some console racing, but I'm not
really a fan of the acrade racers. What's the best...

Black balls by
Byron Forbes
First it was the big double at the academy awards a few years back, and
now, withing the space of a few days, it's f1 world champion and Prez of the
UZ. There's a Planet of the Apes joke in there somewhere but since I'm a
politically correct citizen I wont touch it.
And btw, a pretty...

Another boring iRacing movie... or maybe not? by
Andrew MacPherson[_2_]
Annoyed at iRacing not allowing Skip Barber racing this week, I got decided to take
my frustrations out on the Solstice, which I -- as you may remember -- hate.
Somewhere along the line I got a bit carried away and started having fun. But don't
tell anyone at iRacing! (That includes you Tim, stop...

This is why I find it hard to stay away from iRacing... by
Andrew MacPherson[_2_]
I'm two weeks into my second month on iRacing, and although none of my schizoid
love it/hate it instincts have gone away, I have finally discovered a keyboard
shortcut which makes movie making more viable in iRacing. That led me to put
together this...

GPL Questions by
Mr T
Hi,
I've been practising quite a lot in GPL and am at the stage where I'm
about in the middle of the field of AI cars (I usually qualify around
5th in a field of 10 or 10th in a round of 20). The big question now
is:
- apart from accelerating faster out of the corners and breaking
later, is there...

iRacing - Hardware by
Dirt
So, I just found out about iRacing and it has me thinking about coming
back to sim racing after quite a while. What sort of hardware can you
really get away with? Are the minimums listed at iRacing.com
realistic, or is that really scraping the bottom of the barrel?

iRacing comments (was hardware) by

Since the old thread was no longer about hardware, I decided to start
a new thread.

old sims by
LuvrSmel
Anyone here like digging out the old 1st generation pentium box, blowing off
the dust and firin' her up for some old racing games? I decided to do that
last week and actually had some fun with Nascar2 (DOS), Nascar1, Need For
Speed SE, and the surprisingly fun Network Q RAC Rally Championship...

iRacing - Throttle-On Braking with the F-Mazda by
[email protected]
I chose to post this here first instead of the iRacing forums. This
is in hopes that we can have a real and detailed discussion of the
issue. On the iR forums the discussion will get bogged down with a
bunch of lightweights chiming in on how accurate iRacing is, and how
stupid it is to question...
