Audi 80 heater blower by
Peter
Hi there.
My Audi has a problem with the fan for the heater. It only works at step 1
and step 4. I only have the option for a lot of fan or almost none.
Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks in advance.

02/03 Impreza (a real piece-o-junk in the Subaru/FHI tradition !!) by
Steve Grauman
>If you want to complain about leaks and engine problems, maybe you should go

Or the Harley Davidson forum. Harley buyers are the only group I know of
willing to put up with bikes that leak straight from the factory.

Adding Daytime Running Kights: 1998 A6 Quattro by
Jay Somerset
Is there an easy/cheap way to modify a 1998 A6 for daytime running lights
(DRL)? I would seem that all one really needs to do is jumper the front
foglight terminals on the headlamp switch.
How does the lower left part of the dash/fascia come off? Is the switch
easily removed? Has anyone ever...

High profile tyres for Allroad? by
Gordon
I'm considering buying an Allroad, which I'd like to at some point take
through remote outback Australia across some long rough unsealed roads.
My question is: should I be concerned about the durability of the
low-profile tyres, and if so, is it possible to fit it with more...

Fan on '02 A6 with 3.0 by
M. Butkus
I have an A6 with the 3.0 engine. The two electric radiator fans are on all
the time. Cold start, even very cold out (20 degrees F) and you turn on the
key and both fans start-up. The only time both fans are off is when the air
or heat is completly off. According to the dealer.. "this is normal".

S4 - 2004 Electrical Question by
Keith Viator
I just bought a 2004 S4 and just installed my radar detector. I have always
"hard-wired" the thing in prior cars since I don't like the dangling power
cord going to the cig-lighter.
All prior vehicles have had an accessory fuse that I could use that only has
power with the ignition on. I cannot...

Recommended Mechanics in the Baltimore, Maryland area? by
BDWood
Hello all,
My 2001 S4 has just crossed the magical 50k mark, and after having
been jerked around in general by the clowns here locally at Valley
Motors in Hunt Valley, I am looking for a way to never have to deal
with them again.
Can anyone recommend to me a mechanic or shop in this area that can...

Timing belt change - 1996 Audi A6 (2.6 litre V6) - what's involved? by
John Prendergast
Having just bought one of these, I need to get the timing belt
replaced soonish. Can anyone give me an idea of what's involved and
the difficulty level? I've changed belts on the Audi 100 5-cylinder
engines but this is totally different.
Thanks in advance.

New A6 MMI - can it play MP3? by
jcb_digger
I'm pretty sure the MMI on the A8 can play MP3's and I seem to remember that
the A4's nav system allows you to play MP3's.
Does anyone know if the new A6 can play MP3's?
Ta, John

Loss of Cabin temp control by

Hi all,
I have a 2000 A6. Last Friday on the way to work the heat came on and I
could not shut it off. I tried everything to turn it off. Turning the
temp all the way down, shutting the system off, pulling the fuses.
Nothing worked. A couple of weeks ago the temp coming out ot the vent

Webasto telestart T90 : useful for other cars? by
drive_a_legend
I drive a Land Rover, and bought a Webasto heater unit. On Ebay I find
several Telestart-units for this. Normally, a Telestart T70, or T80
would do. Volkswagen and audi cars seem to have T90-telestart-kits. Is
there a difference? Can I use a complete T90 Volkswagen Telestart kit
(handset and...
