Alfa 156 front suspension squeak by
Adderzz
I have had a problem with one of my front suspension struts squeaking when I
go over bumps, now both sides are doing it and it's getting a little
annoying. It only seems to do it in cold weather which makes me think that
it's got something to do with the rubber bushes in the top of the struts.

GTA Tyres by
theorangery
Hi all
my 147 GTA will soon be in need of new tyres and i was wondering if anyone
with a similar car as changed tyres and if so did you stick to the original
Bridgestone's or any other make and what was the performance change if any
and what price did you pay.
Many Thanks

Flash Car Wash Kit by
SteveH
After seeing these advertised on TV, I went on a mission to track one
down.
My local supermarkets didn't have one, but the local pikey emporium next
door but one to my shop got a delivery of them this week. So I bought
one.
Woke up quite early this morning, and was out on the drive with...

156 Momo leather by
BigAl
Gentle readers
*Still* looking to buy a 156.
Could some kind soul explain the difference between standard leather and
Momo. Is the Momo the 'firmer' leather with the Alfa logo stitched into the
backrest, and the standard leather the 'softer' leather and no Alfa logo?
It also seems to me that...

New Greek Alfisti site by
Pete
I was contacted by the webmaster at www.alfisti.gr
and must tell you all that it was a lovely looking site.
Only trouble was "It's all greek to me" :-)
For those who do have a command of the language I
recommend a visit. Congrats Timos.

MarkV via CarKB.com
Hi,
Recently I bought a 166 (2.5 V6) but got the wrong ICS code, and no NAV

v6daz
Yesterday my '99 156 V6 Steering started whining at low speed/revs but
only when I turn right? Sound lessens the more I drive but is still
noticeable , as is a slight intermittent vbration through the wheel.
As an alpha newbie I was wondering how easy it is to check the steering
fluid levels or...

Need Help: 164 Radio Replacement by
Fitz
Hey guys,
Would someone please give me a general run-down on how to remove the
164's factory installed radio. I've replaced the ECU before, no
problem. I have the center console removed, and unscrewed every screw I
could find. That damn thing just won't budge. I notice that on the
left-hand side...

Dual Weber Carb Problem with Choke by
~Zaitsev
I need to install a manual choke on these carburetors.
I ordered a book but it doesn't say anything about chokes. I need to
disconnect the existing choke and install the manual choke.
Or can I get a replacement for the automatic choke that doesn't seem
to function properly?
Thanks.

I recently bought a 1998 146 2.0 twin spark. The previous owner had a new
clutch and slave cylinder put in Dec (at a garage miles away from myself, so
popping in to get them to have a look is not really an option unless I know
for definate that their work is at fault). Unfortunatly I'm having...
